Let me know how PvP goes for you after you try it out. It may be a little early in your CM career to decide if the profession is overpowered or not.

So, it's pretty obvious how easy it is to drive a car after you do 2 laps around the block? If that's the kind of thinking that floats your boat, you are welcome to your opinion.

MY opinion (and it may be only mine) is that one staged duel by a CM that has only been a master for a few weeks (and how did he get to master, having to look so hard to 'purchase' meds) is not enough to make the sweeping generalization that the profession is too powerful.

Well then the same could be said that CM need to be support and only heal with area heals then. Since when has a Combat Medic ever been able to apply poisons... Its funny since chemical warfare specialist is a title we get. And you know, chemical warfare specialists are the ones who used all of those potent biological and chemical weapons back in WW1

Im sorry but combat should not be all about the CM and ways to counter it and who is lazy or what should be done to counter them. The whole throw and go is lame no matter how you slice it. The dot devestation that is caused by a medic is riduculas. Even if they fixed the Group tef it is still too strong and long lasting. And yes CM should have the opportunity to have there bars blackend just like anyone else. OMG its the old "he's a medic and should only heal" arguement. This isn't real life and there's no geneva convention in SWG. Medics didn't fight because they were considered a non-target by both sides and could wear a nice white and red cross armband. Now they are targetted with a passion by certain "groups". This isn't about DoT's or Poison, its about MIND damage and vulnerability. Btw, we get our bars blackened as often as everyone else. We cant cure diseases...or cure anything at all.

The prob too is that there is a lot less incentive for docs to join pvp than CM because they are no good in pve. Im not saying its all the CM's fault. However, attention does need to be given to them as well and not just to "others" to counter them. Doctors have every type of heal and cure plus a revive, there is more incentive for them to engage in PvP there Combat Medics have.

So here's the deal. There's only ONE profession that can cure poison/disease in this whole game. There is a mitigation spice scheduled for the smuggler revamp but the MIND pool will be equal to health and action after the combat revamp. Chef resist foods really suck for the job they're supposed to do. If area cures were given to Combat Medics, DoT's in general would become a backseat PvP issue and we can go back to griefing overpowered TKM's meanwhile Doctors could go back to JUST curing poison/disease (still), fire, ALL states, revive, and gouge your for money for mandatory mid-high content PvE and PvP unless you like hunting grubers and meatlumps all day outside of coronet (even after the combat revamp people are still going to need them).

Look at the forest, not the tree.

Damn I got Ricky Martin dancing in my head from the last post. "Shabang Shaboom" I'm crotch grinding my way to you!
