You need 2 venoms for C- and B-strength poisons, you can make an area or single A poison with just one venom though. I like to use biles with my REALLY strong venoms (or something like this) because you can get a 160+ charge pack (I've made a pack with 185 or so before). However, you lose a lot of range on your throws.
