i find advanced stopping shot effective for this
You'd be surprised how many people can't afford tohave that in their templates.

You run up to them while spamming the paralyze button until it sticks.
Not so much spam it, but parwan burst run up to an ancient and slap on paralyze.

Interesting thread, what is the speed mod on the adrenal boost? at the mo i use a 84 sac laser rifle with a 30% speed pup, gives me a modified speed of 1.14 (i think), there is an accuracy penalty but that's offset by crispic, with the right food/spice combo my action lasts quiet long (not 3 mins tho) and my attack speed is good. Was just wondering what bonus the adrenal boost gives and what your modified speed is, might try your method instead.
It gives +40 to combat speed if I remember correctly, effectively negating the speed mod on any weapon.
I have a 65 SAC FW FWG5 puped to 47 SAC with 935 Max damage (8% damage sliced, 2% speed, 2% Critical).
I use a macro that does quickdraw/bodyshot every 2.4 seconds and I can do that for about a minute and a half.
Oops, I think I just repeated myself. ![]()

startleshot, stopping shot, disarming shot, concussion shot, and just about any KD will buy you enough time to close in and drop your paralyze without ever getting it.
Eight Gorax last night will attest to this. ![]()
**EDIT: Note - for me personally it's the rifleman /startleshot that prevents attacking for a few seconds. Any ranged prof will have one of the above mentioned skills to buy you a couple of seconds though**

well... i just have one problem with that.... they are usually still doted at this point as i don't have a min capped sac wepon, so my dot's do the damage and my currently pathetic damage stops it's uber high regen

For PvP put the snare on.. the atk speed debuff on, the action debuff on, and a mind debuff if hes a jedi or a cm/doc
Then paralyze again heal once and throw poison then fire.
If its a melee start kiting if not stand there and take hits his action will run out quickly and you can heal fast. when he has no action left KD and begin your assault ![]()
