It seems to drop like 1 in 10 kills or so on Chilastra. Got a couple sets of 90 a set of 139 and a big set of 254 recently. Also had a friend get some 90 and some 185. But were talking killing it maybe 50 times too.
Seems to drop loot well around reset, got some on last spider of the day and the first spider after reset last week.

nice find, i don't think i've ever seen venom that good. My mind c's made with 280 venom ticks for 910 and i'm not even master combat medic. This will give you alot of loot, and get you killed first in every battle you join.

yep, I killed that fire breathing spider that doesn't breathe fire 3 times last night, and it dropped venom twice. Each was a set of 3 base venoms...but not too shabby.

spider drop has always been rare for me, but I've looted some 178 venoms since then.

I just wanted to post this here because I never got around to doing it
my good friend looted legendary venoms and the power on them
was 900
I had a mind area c made with em and it ticks for 2400
but I alsohad a health amade which only takes a single one as opposed to 2 and it actually ticks for 1950ish
so if you do get uber venoms consider making a's cause the trade off isn't very dramatic once you get that level
also my friend actually sold them to be for 2.5 mil for the lot, even though he had offers for 5 mil each

If you find that your not getting loot on the spider. Just keep at it. Patience is all you have. So far no ones been able to disprove my looting theory. I have a conspiracy theory on loot. That every character upon creation is giving some hiden number. All loot in the game is split into certain catigories. Now, your hiden number corrilates directly to what type of loot, how often it will drop and so forth. If your unlucky at creation your screwed. Just enjoy killing hundreds of spiders for 3 drops, and watch everyone else kill 10 spiders for 3 drops.

Thats possible...I had someone I used to Krayt with that always looted (had 4 pearls in a row once).

Don't get too excited i still have my poisons that were made with similar Venoms when I was master CM. Single is 625str, and area is like 523 or something like that. Needless to say the two stacked used to tick for roughly 2300mind damage. Oh and both of them also used exceptional biles, over 300charges on the single and like 270charges on the area. So your by no means safe they do exist on our server. Oh another thing somewhere out there is a set of 400+ venoms on our server as well... as I recall I think seska won that one but last I talked to her she was afraid to craft them
. For the time being they are simply displays for me since I dropped CM around the time they nerfed it so I guess your safe for a bit.

Well, i took my Master Commando to the caves yesterday after work. I even sneaked out of work early to get alittle more play time in. (SSHhhhhh....) Went to the cave to check out the spider. Usually my Commando does fine, because i'm in England and most of the hardcore players on bloodfin arent in my time zone. So when i go do the spider the cave is pretty empty. Wasnt so in this case. Soon as i started hitting on the spider some master swordman runs up and jacks her. Suffice it to say 4 spiders got robbed that way. Got some help on the 5th spider, waited around and the 6th adn 7th got stolen aswell. They wont be stolen much longer as i was going swordman myself. Anyways my whole day netted me:
4 x 118 venoms.
I dont consider it a whole bad day considering how long i was there and how many times i got jacked. Rather, just imagine all the CM's who didn't get any venoms at all.
