Thread: Question for CM's
Whats the difference between a stim d and a bacta shot?
Thanks for the help guys, all these CU changes are killing me.
So how do I go about getting this xp?
Thanks again.
Alright, appreciate all the help. But I think it may just be a bug. I have tried it all. I was in a group, they were not declared, I tried stim a's, c's, and d's. I could heal myself, but I couldn't heal anyone else. Was getting no xp for it.
Is this a bug? Anyone experience this before? I just want to get this underway already... ugh, frustrating.
Insta stims should be called personal stims. They are for personal use only and do not heal anyone else.
To get medical xp - medical xp is now granted only from healing during combat. You can either kill something yourself and heal yourself with a medic/CM or doctor skill (but NOT an instant stim) in the process of doing so or else heal someone else who is killing something but you have to be grouped with them. When they make the kill, you will get an amount of medical xp that is proportional to the amount of healing that you did.
One thing to note tho is that the medical xp granted on self heals at least is a part of the combat xp you get as well. So if you are doing a lot of healing - say enough to 'convert' your combat xp over to medical xp by 50%, then of course you need to be killing something that grants you as much combat xp as possible to maximize medical xp. If that makes sense. Ie. no use going out and endless-healing against a rill when you are combat 80 b/c when you finally kill the rill you will only get a proportion of that 1 combat xp point that you get ![]()
I don't know how the relative combat level works in groups but I do know you get lots and lots of xp lending a healing hand in groups and they are happy to have you. Dantooine MO is a nice place to find groups that need higher level medics.

PS. for the same reason, if you are trying to maximize combat xp you'll favor stims (and drink ruby bliel to half the recycle time on them) as they don't take away from your combat xp.
