I run a shop selling highend meds but not the components...If someone wants me to make them I schemtic I have no problem doing it when it's convient to me.

I don't because of the difficulty of finding good resources. I tend to worry that i will run out of the good stuff touse for myself. Just spent a good bit 'o credits buying generic reactive gas today because i was busy getting other resources ( good generic reactive gas, eleton gas, tolium gas and class 4 liquid petro-chem (all with oq>900 except the tolium at 600) were on the server at the same time... only had the ability to get 3 of the 4).

When the day comes that I can fully upgrade my harvesters and and keep a comfortable reserve in stock, then I may begin crafting. As a general rule at the moment, there is not a big demand for CM components on my server. There is, however a few Docs that do good component business and will also make schematics for CMs.

Ahhh, need to add one thing.

After reading the rest of the posts, I thought that although I do not sell medical supplies, I do make them (including gathering the resources) for everybody else in the guild besides the other doctor (small 10 person guild). I also supply the other doctor with resource waypoints when he runs low on supplies.

I don't run my own shop, but I do have a few resellers. It is however, primarily stimpacks, some revive kits, and a few wound kits. I occasionally put ranged stim kits up for sale as well.

Component parts don't sell well the past few times I've tried, although I have sold/traded/bartered manufacturing schematics on a few occaions.

Being a master doc/CM, I dont have a shop, yet(working on it). However I dont have ths skill points to open my own, so I do take custom orders for anything in the doc/CM skill tree. This is how I pay my rent, cause I know I wont use 100k stacks on my own

Nope, I do not sell resources. I spent the time to make stuff good so why would i sell them? Why would i help some become better then me? I mean providing them high end stuff so they can do all i can do plus be a pistoleer? I don't think so. Personal i think everyone should stop selling and make them work for it, you make credit easy enough other ways.

I sell many stim b's and c's face to face with people I meet. Have only sold 1 crate of Ranged D's so far and some sub componet crates to a BE a few times.

I am on Tarq mail me with any requests and I will let you know if I can fill and order for you and prices I dont charge an arm and a leg *smile* and make good stuff.

I tried making and selling components for other Docs/CMs...

IT'S NOT WORTH IT!

Here's the problems:

1. You can't always devlier on orders, everyone wants 10 crates or more of all 3 components for their profession.


2. You can't guarentee quality. You're bound to what is available resource wise on your server.


3. You think you're getting paid lowwith 8-10CPU pricing on stims. Try selling sub components to other doctors. They wont want to pay more then 4-5 CPU for the sub components. (I.E. the crap that has the hardest to get ingredients)


4. Even when running 4 factories I can't make them fast enough to make any kind of profit.

What I will do now is make schematics for people whenever they want, free of charge. You hand me a small stack of the resources you have and I'll give you back a schematic for a 1000 run of that component. That takes me all of 60 seconds to do and they can worry about gathering the resources and running the factories.

I do not sell the components. I do sell the completed products and I will do a schematic for free for any CM (I have doctor crafting too) so long as they are not planning to compete against my business and they give me the resources.
