You truly do miss the whole point. This game is not about being the one single bad ass that can take on anything and everything. It's about working together with a team. Comments like yours do nothing but fuel the nerf cries and that elitist attitude of yours is sickening. If you think you are truly such a bad ass then come to Kauri armed with only your knowledge of the CM and Doctor classes to prove me wrong. I've lived through spider venom poison and disease before while alone. I know how to survive CM attacks without picking up Doctor skills.

Ya, but the alot of them don't see a 1200 tick poison as an issue. I know that eventually we will run out of venom(stockpiling it myself, can't wait to get 1mil per) and the ticks will go back down to 400-800. I just wish that the AoE would wourk when targeting myself with area heals

What are you talking about? People need to wake up and smell the coffee. These days, a CM DoT is the least that you need to worry about. Perhaps you should take a look at Pikeman, or Fencer and Rifleman that are stocking up on DoT and Fire weapon.
You're fooling yourself to think that without Combat Medic the world would be a better place to PvP because DoT will be gone. A rifleman with a DoT rifle is just as effective as a CM.
If you can't cure your own poison/disease, what are you going to do against a Pikeman with these pikes? You'll die just like the rest. Yeah, he's in my guild, I fought him several times and the fact is ifyou can't cure those poison and fire he applied, you'll be dead in 15 seconds tops.
So stop your idiotic response and get with reality. CM is not the only profession that's applying DoTs now.

And one more thing to add. My comment is not specified to Combat Medic. It is applied to the game over all. Why do people seek out DoT weapon? Because against an opponent without the ability to cure, you have the added advantage. Why do you use a mind fire rifle? Because it adds the additional DoT to thedamage.
The whole point of my thread is to enlighten people that instead of crying about nerf this, nerf that. Take a look at your template and see what you can do to adapt and overcome the problems. If DoT is killing you, get doctor to cure it. It's as simple as that. Don't come on to my forum cry and whine about how over powered this profession is because if you're not looking at a counter, you're not improving.
DoT is part of the game, live with it, deal with it and if you want to over come the DoT, do something about it. Because even with CM profession gone, the DoT will no stop, and you'll still be bitching.

I have lots of DoT weapons, but none that tick at 1200, or anywhere NEAR that.

Rifle and Baton/Gaffy have DoT that are very high and they stack with different weapon, which I'm sure you're aware of. For instance, if you have 3 rifles 2 baton with 100 mind poison each, and if you're able to land the dot with all 5 weapons, the poison will tick for 500 on that individual.
But there are some exceptional rifles that are scatter around the galaxy. One of my guildmate has an exceptional SG-82 rifle that has 850+ strength action poison DoT with 20000+ uses. 45 million credits is what it cost him, a very worthy investment.
