It's pretty bad. Sorry. Keep it simple--allow mind damage healing with stims, but, medics and doctors can't be healed this way. This way we eliminate the infinite healing problem.

That solution REALLY cripples medical types who are also combatants. Say, Master Carbineer plus Master Doc.

oh and I don't mean the crappy 15 minute buff from a master musician/dancer. the time should be drastically increased and for more. at least 500-1000 for the mind sub stats at master level, no different than what a doctor can do with physical sub stats. Have it last 2 or 3 hours to make it worthwhile and have it where the buff has to be given consentually so people don't leech as they do to entertainers now.

OK, i'm sorta new to CM, sorta not. I got the ranged healing speed tier and heal mind, i've used it and gotten tons and tons of wounds. Then when i see my friend use mind heal it barely takes anything if anything at all from him. what's up with that? Oh, and i'm 4/4/x/4 in CM, and he's master, that make a difference? Thx

Master makes no difference. Perhaps his mind bar is much larger than yours, or he has brandy, or musician buffs, or Muon Gold. It gives about 40 wound to mind, focus, and willpower to everyone. That's why most CMs use it very sparingly.

The more bf you get the more wounds mind heal does.

I'm currently grinding up the medic tree to get CM. Had a couple questions about mind heal. Do you get it at master or one of the trees fourth boxes? Is it something that you can do to other people or only to yourself? Are there mind heal stims or does it cost the medic some damage?

Any help would be great.

You get mindheal at x4xx CM. It can only be used on others and not yourself. It is an ablity and not a stim. It causes mind wounds to you when you use it.

Actually there are damage stim packs that drop that heal mind as well as HA but I haven't seen any in a very long time. They have a med use on them but most are designed for novice medic. I have seen a couple with med sue 30 on them though. These damage stim packs have nothing to do with the skill mind heal, just thought I would mention it because you mentioned stims in your question.

Take a look at your upcomming skills to see when you get new skills. All of them are listed when you click on your unlearned boxes. Very useful information in there.

Okay great! Thanks. As a rifleman I was really hoping I'd be able to heal my own mind at the expense of action or health. Just a pipe dream tho

I'm bored at work and trying to figure plan out my template so I appreciate the immediate response. I could have waited until I got home, but that doesn't help me waste time while I'm here lol.

If you find looted stims they will also have mind heal if memory serves correctly. I used to find them on storm troopers early in the game, not sure if they still drop.

Stims that can heal mind are given out as rewards for the singing mountain clan quests on Dath. As far as I can tell though, there is little correlation between the stim rating (A,B,C) med use (seen 5-30) and power (example, I have a stim A 300 power med use 20 and a sim C 200 power med use 30)...the one thing they all have in common though, they all heal mind. I think I ended up with 4 stims total, about 20 total uses.

The quests were easy with doctor buffs, cuting it kinda close as a TKM/CM without buffs using spice and powerboost.

cool thanks Pahdbacca. I got them once as a random drop and I know newbie medics were given them but I wasn't aware there was a quest to get them.... I've been spending all my Dath time in the village or dancing with Night Sisters or rancors. Guess it's time the S&M clan got a visit.

hehe making plans to visit the S&M clan cause those nasty women like to beat me. sounds like I should be on another forum.
