composite =) it roxors dude..and if u are a medic hehe dont 4get about the mind drain...what sux is when they hit ure mind after u use a stim...not a good thing..but really a true TKA shouldnt wear armor hehe..how many ninjas do u c in armor? not a whole lot...but it can be a huge huge help...you regen faster, but u take way less damage..get a good set of composite, get it sliced then wipe them out. Good luck dude.. also another tip for u that works pretty good..it's how i will master tka and so far its working very well..get balance first so u have KD..then work up the pwer tree to lvl3, then get meditate one and 2... the reason why i say this is becuz at lvl 3 pwer u can solo just about anything...kd, dizzy, equip vibros...pound away. SO b4 gettin pwer 4 get meditate one and two..it will helpz u out alot..i know it helped me. gl

Awesome I have a composite helm, waiting on a restat so Ican wear it. Focus and a willpower are a bit too low, restatting away from health some tonight. If I drop my health down to 900, my health and action will be nearly the same, focus should be enough to wear the composite helm I bought.... Nice full set of composite minus gloves and boots, sweet

Just keep in mind that your armor will really take a toll on regen and also special cost. The higher your con the faster health regens. The higher your stamina the faster action regens. The higher your quickness and strength the lower the ham cost for specials. your mind stats work the same way..willpower affecting mind regen and focus reducing special cost. Having high will power and focus (focus to a lesser extent then willpower)is critical to this class and most others (at least in opinion). This will have a direct impact on long you can stay in a fight. Magically

I have a suit of 66 ubanese because the ham is so much lower than composite and it costs at most a third of what composite costs in my galaxy.

Yeah I planned on getting some good ubese eventually. I bought that comp helm and I dunno if trandoshans can even wear em. The master AS I bought it from was standing there when I bought it and he was a dosh as well and said he could wear em, I may jus sell it

Hello everyone, I'm a new tailor on Eclipse.

I was kinda wondering if I should expect to make enough money to support going from novice to master by selling clothing alone or if I'll have to run missions or sell other stuff as well?

I picked tailoring because I figured since there's no stats that can be effected whether your a novice or a master, it'd be the best to make money on early. (I'm gonna do armor smith after I master tailoring)

Anyways, just wanted to say hi, and I'd really aprechiate any words of wisdom from more experienced tailors.

I'm not going to lie to you: it's a master's economy. When I started back up on TestCenter, I promised myself I wouldn't grind (much) but that got shot down when every 5 minutes someone was asking for red, or bikini, or... well you get the idea. Of course, on the other hand, TC doesn't really have a working bazaar system. I would say that half the stuff I sell is stuff that I could make with very few boxes of tailor. Here is an article about how to advance without grinding, which details items that are sellable at every level. Though you might not be able to run a "full service shop" for a while, you can probably make decent money selling "basic black" items on the bazaar.

If you get in a pinch, you can run artisan missions, which pay surprisingly better than the entertainer missions.

And option 3: do master artisan first. You may have to do it anyway for armorsmith (PSG parts). That way you can make your own mini harvesters, and sell vehicles for cash.

Good points!

I would also like to add that you should always take Artisan Missions as opposed to Delivery Missions, because Artisan Missions pay more, and youget XP (minimal)tword MasterArtisan.

I really really doubt it, but when you say xp towards Master Artisan, you don't mean apprenticeship xp do you? You mean general crafting xp, right?

Heh, just want to make sure I'm not sitting in Coronet with a shout macro running for no reason...

And yah, I was planning on making my money through speeders and weapon power-ups once i got master artisan. And thanks for reminding me about the bazzar, it never even hit me that I could run my business through it and not out of a shop, and with the prices of clothing, I guess you don't really need a shop unless you want to sell BEed stuff.

Once you build up a little bit of capital you can sell crated components too. These sell well on the bazaar (on my vendor I sell crates of synthetic cloth for 3500 credits and crates of reinforced fiber panels and trim for 4000 each) and they don't require much effort to make. With a little bit of factory time, you can turn the fiberplast you purchased for 2.5 credits per unit into something that sells for 5-7 credits per unit. They're consumable too, so you're guaranteed to have repeat customers.

I personally hate doing components because it's not something I really signed up for when I became a tailor. Doing components is boring and there's virtually no customer interaction, but at the same time it doesn't require much effort. I receive requests for components from grinders, armorsmiths, and chefs many, many times each day. After getting fed up with all of it, I decided that it would be easier to appease them and set up a components vendor. The crates fly off the shelf and it's paying off quite nicely.

Hey, i have a quick question... what are biological components needed to make synthetic cloth? Do I need to buy them from BEs or something?
