Well, I am dropping master doctor and master combat medic...see absolutely no purpose in keeping them any longer. The diminished role they will play is just not enough.

I guess I come out ahead in this....I only have a CM suit, and could never afford to buy a Doc suit. So if I decide to re-spec to BE for crafting, I can also make the meager remaining Doc stuff on par with the old-time buff-slaves. If my math was right, any existing CM should be able to pick up the ONE tree of BE we'll need to continue making CM stuff at the same skill cost we spend right now....
Current Master CM SP= New Master CM + 0004 BE SP

Here's hoping!

I can't believe you think we are getting nerfed. We're not and will still be extremely effective. Think about it, with weapon dot's gone, we are back to being king of the poison. Plus we still get our heals. To be honest it looks like our healing got nerfed more than our combat.

Attacking mind was too easy anyway I'm very excited and wish we could get to playing with this stuff. Sure some folks see it as a nerf, esp the ones with the macro /apply poison, /headshot 3, /headshot3, headshot3, /snipershot. I hope it becomes a little harder to play a cm, more thought and tactics. And if we aren't the uber poison tossers, well maybe being more of a healer will keep me from getting ganked at the start of the fight for a change Getting some defense will rock, and if they throw in a weapon.....even better. As long as we still have direct poison and area poisons, its all good on the combat side. And the more I think about it, the debuff aspect of disease is going to be critical in group warfare.

I am very curious on this Daze ability........

What I want to know is what is going to happen to resist buffs?

ANY good CM worthy of PvP doesnt use macro's. The only time I ever use a macro is in a large fight, where I lag really bad everything is delayed like 30 seconds instead of 4.

Your positivity on this subject brings new hope for me.

Dont forget we have an Offense rating of 4....one point away from the ultimate damage dealers - Commando's, Swordsman, and Rifleman. We even outrank BH in damage according to this rating.

Jedi will never be a starting profession...Looted items and quest items will never be better then crafted items, this is not a loot based game...CH will return shortly...CH and BE will not be back in game...Rangers are getting their revamp next!...The stealth system will not be changing in the spy expertise...Need any more examples of things the devs said that did not hold true?

I became a Combat Medic since I needed a switch of profession from Droid Engineer, which came from Bio Engineer. Wish I didnt make that mistake. But anyways... I also became a combat medic since my guild needed a good healer. As long as we got are stims and the like, a poison wouldnt be so bad but still combat medic is more of a support role as I view it...

Don't put too much weight on the number ratings. They aren't as definitive as you may think, and never have been.

guys we don’t have to worry so much I’ve been looking at the cu ages as much as the rest of you and we have to realize we maybe able to combine skills with other profs. the game is going toward more on abilities as a character vs. what you can to with what gun. so there is an exponential amount of possibilities...oh sorry let me introduce my self I’m maxxhope/ emel ro'skoda on eclipse and I’m looking for cm's who want to find out the best combos for our beloved Cm profession....I don’t want to gripe about the changes I just want to come out with CM on top of this CU... and I think if we work together like the other professions are doing we can find out the best for us. anyone have any new info on it?

Im just curious if we still can use venoms to enhance our poisons/diseases. And our suits would be ok if a BE can use it to craft CM supplies. Also veeery curious if all crafters will use the same resources. It would be a "fatal error" to the economy if they dont do it. Or else its a quite good period to move to another non-SOE game

Well I was a lil mad, tried to hold off till TC was up ... I spent a few hours there tonight. Are you sure this is Beta? I cant say exactly what I think, I'm bad with words but this... I cant put in words .... go try it yourselves.

Granted it needs work but Beta it is not. I know they want you to focus on the combat part atm but I couldnt go on .... so I found myself some resources and made some stims. figured I'd try and grind out CM as fast as I could. well I made it as far as crafting a bunch of stims. The 3rd stim I used I noticed the 51 sec cooldown thats where I stopped.

Best thing they could do after the bugs are worked out is put it on its own server and see how many go there.... my vote is stay as is right now... broke profs, bugs and all. Thats not SWG, maybe SWG2 the WoW me 2 game.

I also gotta say... The new devs are doin a great job but chock this up as a test.

My wife rearanged her screen like WoW and found it much easier to play but still hates it. LOL

it is annoying that they are removing combat medic experimentation completly.
everything will be made using med. experimentation. what will happen to our +25 cm exp suits???
