Thread: Some tips
I also wanna be a Pikeman![]()
I love my Reinforced combat staff... It's pretty cool! Do i need to change to another blunt weapon when i finally become a Novice Pikeman, to do some serious damage???
The better i become in skill tree the better i become overall.. Right? Its not all the weapons???
Im a new medic and all I have is Stims A and B..what are some tips on how to gain XP, set up the hotkeys, etc.
on the hotkey setup:
this realy is an issue of personal preferrences. however, once you set up a hotkey bar, keep the positions for '/healdamage' and '/healdamage self' whenever you change them. if you play as a medic a bit, you will so get used to the positions of them than changing them will result in pushing the wrong button at the wrong time.
and trust me, you will love the '/healdamage self' button.
i keep those 2 on the top row to have easy access through the keyboard without breaking my fingers pushing shift + F(x) at the same time and first aid is on the second row, it's not used that often so that when you need it, you can as well use the mouse and keep the top row for important stuff
my top row looks about like this:
- F1: stand
- F2: tumble to standing (don't ask)
- F3: berserk (macro including weapon switch)
- F4: intimidate
- F5: 1H Lunge (macro incl. weapon switch)
- F6: 1H Dizzy
- F7: 1H Body Hit
- F8: /healdamage self
- F9: /healdamage
- F10: Equilibrium
- F11: Follow
- F12: Ranged Stim
