What you all don'tunderstand is CMs are not asking to be damage dealers or devastating in PVP.

We want our profession to be worth 169 points that we spend to master it.


Area Heals? Doesn't cut it.

Ranged Heals? Doesn't cut it.

Mind Heals? Doesn't cut it.

Poison and disease in it's current form? You guessed it. Doesn't cut it.

COMBAT and MEDIC = being able to be offensive and provide medical support on a battlefield


DOCTOR = the guy in the white lab coat who never leaves the hospital to practice his craft.

you can already mind poison for 1.6k per tick...and now you want them to remove the area cure from docs and give it to you..? what a joke, don't try and nerf another profession so yours can be invincible, doctors are meant to heal and cure poisons and diseases..maybe some people don't know this but the area poison and disease cures aren't only going to be for pvp...when they nerf buffs and people start hunting in groups again they'll need docs to heal them and whatnot...cure their poisons, diseases, states...

The CMs are not asking for AE cures to be removed. They are asking for balance. Somewhere else someone pointed out a Doctor with 2xxxx skill can effectively cure the nastiest AE poison a Master CM can toss. that is not balanced.

IMO doctor area cures are definitely needed badly! In high-lag battles, targeting a player and getting in proper range can be a challenge. Couple this with bad communication and chaos during biological attacks and you can easily see why doctor area cures are very very much in need.


My beef is with the innoculations.. they appear WAY too strong given the info i have heard about them. The most uber potency poisons should be blocked 60% of the time by the most uber innoculations. For uber poisons against non-uber but great innocs the rate should be 50%.


Area cures = very good, impermeable innocs = not very good.

thats not relevant what so ever bh itself is the challenge it can take months to master, were as cm took me 1 day

I cant believe this arguement is even going on i dont know how cm's have got the front to ask for cures i see it as this:

COMBAT=you get to master a elite prof like rifleman MEDIC= you get to HEAL players on the battlefield

DOCTOR=person to cure disease wounds poisons buff players and to heal in battle.also did i mention cm's can hit for 1.6k mind a tick whiping out a whole group of players but hey that isnt relevant is it and in no need of change

Technically, It's not evenin the game yet. They can still do it. I'd like them to remove most other heals or make it donein a camp or something....err...but thats another can of worms.

Yeah, the area cures are good, but giving them to the doctor lowers the CMs role to a rather low state.


The innoculations are a bit strong, but apparently its being pushed to the devs

Heal means many things...including aiding any slight damage (states) and administering quick cures (poison/disease) We should be the profession of healing in combat...o.O
