Thread: Healing Macros?
Heres my list of macros from the Doc forum.
/tar self;
/ui action toolbarPane05;
/ui action toolbarSlot06; - Stim D in toolbar 6, slot 7
/ui action toolbarPane00;
/pause 2;
/bactaShot self; - no enhancer available for Bacta Shot
/pause 2;
/ui action toolbarPane05;
/ui action toolbarSlot03; - Bacta Infusion Enhancer in toolbar 6, slot 4
/ui action toolbarPane00;
/pause 2;
/ui action toolbarPane05;
/ui action toolbarSlot04; - Bacta Toss Enhancer in toolbar 6, slot 5
/ui action toolbarPane00;
/pause 2;
/ui action toolbarPane05;
/ui action toolbarSlot05; - Bacta Spray Enhancer in toolbar 6, slot 6
/ui action toolbarPane00
/pause 2;
/ui action toolbarPane05;
/ui action toolbarSlot07; - Bacta Jab Enhancer in toolbar 6, slot 8
/ui action toolbarPane00
S - /tar self; (use bacta jab enhancer from toolbar)
D - /tar self; (use bacta toss enhancer from toolbar)
Z - (use bacta spray enhancer from toolbar)
X - (use bacta infusion enhancer from toolbar)
Shift+A - /bactaShot - for healing others
Shift+S - (use bacta jab enhancer from toolbar)
Shift+D - (use bacta toss enhancer from toolbar)
Then for when I get a "thunk", meaning run out of enhancers, I have:
CTRL+S - /bactaJab
CTRL+D - /bactaToss
CTRL+Z - /bactaSpray
CTRL+X - /bactaInfusion
I've stuck a few Stim D in toolbar slots 00 and 01 so I just hit F1 or F2 for them as I need to see when I am running low on them.
Unless you know your targets name.... good luck with the healing macro for enhancers!
Only macros I would use for healing would be
/bactashot self AND /bactatoss self AND /bactajab self etc.
Then make the macro like this and you will never miss or loose your curent target.
/bactaShot self;
Add self to the end of any /command that you can use on yourself will do it to you. No retargeting needed : )
But if you put this in your normal bactashot spot. If you want to heal someone els you will need a diffrent toolbar slot for it or just type /bactash when they are targeted.

Do not make a macro that activates two or three of these together because you lose some of your adaptibility.... you should not be waiting til the last minute to heal unless you get suddenly bombarded with a lot of attacks! Heal around 1/2 health and you should be fine. Also some people set up ruby bilel + stim macros... but I just favor putting the ruby bilel and stims right next to each other on the toolbar.
what do u mean "lose adaptability"?
if Im badly damaged can I bactashot bactaspray and bactatoss myself quickly and at the same time? or do they just end up in some combat que?
im new to cm but what u think is most efficient healing strategy? bactashot + stims or some variation bactashot, spray, toss? or everything? ty

If you are low then im not saying dont heal by spamming all three, but a good healer doesn't need to spam all 3 usually, unless they get overloaded. If you run all three when you dont need that much healing then you are wasting mind. I think Bacta Shot and Toss use 10% mind each and bacta spray im unsure... its more than 10% tho. If you have 1000 health left and you use all 3, your bacta spray will be overhealing you and you will have wasted mind unnecessarilty. I used to heal when I was low on health, but this just isnt good health management... Anything can happen then and you are in a forced condition to heal! Now I try to heal around half health or more so that when i get my heal off, im near full health. This way if Im in a situation where I need to get a little more damage off and Id rather wait an attack or two to heal, I have a little buffer room to play around with! A good healer knows how to manage health and mind!
