Hrm.. the reason those poisons are unusable in PvP is the rancor bile, not the spider poison.
but this is all moot...i mean when is the last time someone looted anything over 147 power from the fire spider? The economy (paying ridiculous amounts for the venom), the rarity of loot drops and then when you have been through all that and have a crit failure in a research center....you are like fook it!!!

since the nerf i have not heard of anyone looting anything over 143 on tarquinas...if i am wrong please correct me........in addition.....I have killed 3 fire spiders and received no loot.
