This had been brought up a couple of times before in the Squad Leader Forums. While it would be a welcome addition to our now defunct class, it has little "Real world" merit. How would a real Squad Leader reinforce his troops against poison? Our other passive bonuses (Ranged/Melee defense) can be attributed to simply "coordinating" the assault, but Poison/Disease resistance would be different. Something like a dodge for poison (Resistance I guess) would make some sense, as we could simply be telling our troops to "watch out". Slowing the ticks and such would seem odd, unless the SL had some medical expertise as well to do this (Epinephrine injections?).

Not that we wouldn't welcome anything that would make us more useful. Or perhaps useful in the first place ...

Interesting idea, have seen this before, or something like it but I have never really commented on it. Pesonally, I think maybe more along the lines of lengthing the tick time. Maybe make it twice as long at master SL with it gradually going up.

On the other hand, I definately think a CM should not be able to only put points into effectiveness(if he onlyhas 10 points) and have poisons next to never resisted. It needs to be along the lines of how it was before they put the ARC in, I remember having to put atleast 1 point, sometimes 2 into ease of use to boost Cs up into the 92 potency range which was the sweet spot. Resists definately need to work somewhat. SL do need some love, and I could definately see soemthing like this happenning.
