Yes, I make all my own stuff, posions and dieases ...
also you forgot about that the factory schy is needed, which ups the number of reasoures there....
Its the hardest resoures to find, If they add krayt to them, would be about the only thing to make them harder...
and now with the food, huo-cho or something like that, gives you +20 to posions AND diease for 10mins ...The kicker is that the filling is 17, so you can eat 5, thats 100+ res to anything i throw ...
ok, with that said, I always made it strong as i chould, using all exp points in EFF, makeing the pot. 85ish ....and i still didnt always hit my target, with 100 res to it, I will have to make mine pot. what? 180? ...which will make the dmg, 200? per tic,
I would say this nerfs me, im thinking of just going rifleman, which still does the most dmg, to everY pool, at 64m, and spam "master headshot" with a jawa rifle, that a helmet can only get 37% res to ...
? and who thought about this at all????
On a different track as I couldnt care less about exploits or cheating peeps.
In the Starwars universe, where did combat medics come in. Were they in the books or something.
This isnt a flame guys I was just curious where the idea came about. If they were in star wars im guessing they whiped out all the jedi when they were sitting about having a cup of tea in the canteena hhahahaha ![]()
As for your poisons on a serious note as long as us docs are about there isnt a problem really. The one that botheres me is the leap frog effect i am being told about. Is it true u can infect a group up to 95 meters away?
CM's need the 75% nerf just like evryone else .... here is what i saw yesterday.
- 15 overt rebels in bestine take down an equal size imps force. Cool fight and fun to watch.
- one combat medic unbuffed runs toward the reb crowd and uses 1 area attack.
- cm is killed instantly ... (who cares 0 decay)
- 5 mins pass ... all rebs have 0 (thought this wasn't suppose to incap you) or 1 mind and are DB by 1 overt imp lol
You really think thisis a valid tactic in PvP.
Now I'm a master doc with no offensive skills I'm not really going to get involved in the fight. I though about curing all 15 of them but what is the sense really .... CM comes back does 1 attack and I have to cure all 15 again .... try it before and it is a loss cause.

kinda funny 1 support clas char shows up and the battle is over.
Well that is my 2 cents for what it is worth I don't pvp so I could care less if they change it.
Here's a tip. Tell your buddies not too stand so close to each other....
Here's another tip. Have some discipline to NOT DB the CM until you all have been cured and are ready for him when he clones again....

stop usen the word medic it's not a medic persay it's a chem expert who happened to study medicen as part of his chemistry training I.e he studied to find out where to put the poison( contact . airborn, or injected ) . it would strike me as odd that there are no chemicals used in star wars .
the only thing i would do for realism is have enviro suits to combat the aoe but the single person darts would still hit
and the enviro suits would work both way's aoe heals would not work on them either
and as for all of you who want to remove the combat medic from the game i've made a list of who you are and i will never heal you . or if you succeed in your lame attempt to win withoiut fighting any battles and force me to be a doctor to fill my desire of playing an elite roll i won't buff you aswell
I have had to stop trying to explain the name of the combat medic. These people that scream, "You're a Medic, you should not be able to kill anyone!" I have relegated them to order of the loonatic fringe.
I am glad this guy says he is going to go give combat medic a try. A lot of his success or failure on evaluating the class is going to be based on the base of money he has to work with, the people that he has around him, and how much he likes to go find resources. If he has lots of money to buy all the best resources on his server, then he will find CM a breeze, if he does not then he will likely feel the pain that many of the rest of us have gone through.
I think he is in for a rude awakening if he thinks that he is going to spend a few skill points and go out and everything is going to be hunky dory. He will still get poisoned and diseased like everyone else. He will still find himself on his back looking up.
I tell you what.. I would like to see this person keep a count on how many times he is given a death blow and how many times he gives a deathblow.

The Devs feel that Poison and Disease damageis relatively balanced and there's not as much reason to change them.
