Combat Medic Archive

I've been trying for a few days to make some money selling combat medic packs on the Kaadara bazaar on Starsider but haven't met with much success. Part of the problem is probably that the stuff is really only usable by master combat medics so the market is understandably small. Has anyone else had any success marketing high-level CM packs? What do you sell, where do you sell it, and for how much?

Doctors have the same problem. Basically highly crafted Stim-B's sell best. They do get some sales with enhance packs and revive packs from players who have skipped the crafting tree.

If CMs continue to be perceived as "uber", perhaps will get some single tree CMs you can sell to. I hope not.

The problem is that the only people that can use high lvl stuff are the people that can make their own.

CM/Doc market doesn't exsist.. only acception is fibreplast.. and that's cuz armor smiths use it..

I am a master Cm and I really sell no CM stuff at all. I make all my money off wound packs, and stim b's & c's. I've had requests to make poisons for people that appear to be dabbling in the CM profession, but so far I haven't sold any due to the lack of resources on Chilastra.

I could see there being a market for CM poison/disease ingredients if someone were to start one. Could save a bunch of CMs the effort of going out there and getting the multitude of stuff we need to make our poisons/diseases.

Otherwise, I don't think there really is going to be a market for CM specific stuff. The best stuff pretty much requires you to be a master CM and if you are a master CM you can make all your own stuff anyway.

For my part, I have to make my own until I master something, whenever the hell that'll be.

Well, I would much rather be buying my CM packs than crafting them. I only started crafting and selling them because I couldn't find any for sale, so I figured it was a wide open market. Are all you master CMs crafting meds just for your self? Is that the way you want it or are you just doing it because you couldn't find any for sale?

I make my own.

A Doctor friend and I have built up a decent stockpile of advanced resources for stims, and I have a decent stockpile of stuff for diseas/poisons.

The thing is, in order to use Poison C's, you gotta be master CM, thus you gotta go through the crafting branch anyways. No big deal.

Pretty much. I like being able to craft my own stuff...less dependency on others. Not sure if I would buy master cm items if they were for sale. I suppose it would depend on the quality of the poison/diseases.

Ackava, I'm on Starsider too and have recently entered the poison crafting market. I've been gathering resources and have made a few sales already on factory produced C poisons.

crates of stim b's sell the best. crates of abec's do pretty well also.

i dont think ive ever had anyone ask me for a crate of stim d's or ranged stims.

and i'll never sell a good poison pack. after after traveling around enough to find the materials if others wanted them badly enough they'd go get the stuff themselves.

I've actually found a couple of people who don't wanna spend the time gathering the resources for the advnaced stuff on corbantis. I've opened up a market for CM gear and do fairly well. It seems most don't wanna spend the time it takes to get the adv. stuff. I love to craft, so spending over a month and a half waiting for class 1 radioactive to hit is not bad to me, it's well worth it, just means the prices for my stuff will go up. If anyone on Corbantis would like some equipment, just email Dakaii.
