Here is the anatomy of a nerf caller thread:
First they name it something like "This is not a call for a nerf"
I was in a PvP event with <lie about # of people> and a combat medic hit <lie about #> us with a <lie about tick> poison which ticked every second from <lie about the range>m!
There...now just plug in this information and you don't have to think about it...not that you do anyway.
In any event....please stop trolling our boards!!! No one cares!! cry to the devs!!!

Which forum has the most cry babies changes almost month to month. Some people are just natural whiners. They'll bother somebody else soon hopefully.

Ijust wish they would not post on a CM thread that is about CM stuff that only CMs should answer. I can avoid the nerf cry threads with the title you mentioned. I just hate it when I am reading a thread about poison crafting and some idiots has tochime in with a whinny post about....well the stuff you mentioned. It is sad how on the money you are Anti. 5 stars bro.

I am a former combat medic
I personally, in multiple cases
single handedly 0ed the minds of LARGE groups of expert and novice PVPers alike
ifI had a combat profession for a secondary profession, I would've easily killed them all in 1 shot each
this was before venom
my area poisons were 624/tick (strength 312)
range 72m (36m range showing on the poison)
over 100% potency
I personally poisoned over 30 people in a single toss before, and frequently poisoned between 10 and 20

DPS has nothing to do with it
because you are out of their attack range, the DPS doesn't matter as much
you just have to stay out of their attack range until their mind is at 0, which doesn't take long at all
less than a minute, unless they have like muon, dancer buff, 1100 mind, TKA meditate, glucose, and brandy
even in that case, you'll 0 their mind in under 2 minutes, and considering you get about a 12-20m head start on them, its quite easy to own large groups of people

The arguments your making are valid, but fall apart when AOE gets entered into the equation. This is where all the cries of nerf stem from and will be the point that the Devs use to justify your nerfing. A CMs power to me seems justified in a 1:1 ratio, but when its applied to large groups on the battlefield creates a huge imbalance. If I was a CM I would be lobbying hard to get AOE poison/diseases "balanced" so the devs dont take a wide brush to your whole profession.
