Thread: Can Master CM buff almost as good as Master Doc?

Grinded my way to Master Doc now making some pretty shweet dough buffing people. My plan was always to do CM after and buffing people I'm plowing trough med XP.... Decisions time now with 0/250 skills left 
Drop Master Doc and keep 0,0,0,4 DE? Question I guess is can Master CM buff almost as good as Master Doc?
I buy buff pack on average 20k they very in med knowledge from 89-91-93? I never pay attention with my +25 clotehrs I can use it all (use bivoli too most of the time for +25 I guess I have no clue what my skill is...)
Would I as Master CM be able to use these packs? Now I buff people for 2389 in stats with 880 packs - what would MAster CM do? I also want to PvP some so I guess if I have to chose at the end I want to be Master CM not Master Doc...?

At 0040 in the Doctor tree you will have 90 skill points. If the clothing still works for you then you can use the more powerful buffs, otherwise you will have to make sure every buff pack you buy is rated for 90 or less skill.
Master CM cannot do anything with buffs, CM grants no skill points to doctor in any way and vice-versa so you will ahve to maintain your doctor skills if you want to buff.

Actually to buff at 90 he will need 0240 Doctor. You don't get the option to buff until 0200 doctor.

Exactly, you cannot use buffs without 0200 in doc. Like CMs, you must have the ability to use certain things, even if your med/cm med use is high enough.

I'm leaning toward being Doc/CM and PvP for some time like a break from "the Grind"...

I understand this - this is for support character in PvP guild type of PvP...

You'll shine in that role. Just watch out for folks on the other side attempting to remove you from the battlefield.

Have fun with that.
Doc/CM is a completely support hybrid - Great for PvE - I don't think too good for PvP
Unless your "Raid Busting"

CM/Doc is actually a great PVP template. While we don't have the defensive modifiers that other professions do, with good armor and buffs we can take a pretty good beating. It is probably the best template for taking out other CMs. The down side (as already mentioned) is that we are the first target for any smart enemy.

As to the question in the post they are differant and thus one is not better than the other. Well that being that CMs can't buff unless Doc is taken. I am a master DOC/CM and love it. It is a blast in PvP where I can sit in a clone center and buff my allies and then run out and poison for a while then come back and start buffing again. When starting PvP I usualy buff full sets but once PvP is in full swing I hit action and health and send everyone on their way because I have way too much of a line.

yes it is....I am 0440 doc....MCM 4003 rifleman....I can buff, rezz, rain death down on you and shoot you in the head from 65m.....I can wreck havoc if I have a TKM/Rifleman with me.

One thing just ocured to me - it'll be costly to buff and buff folks so much and so quick and get no money for it lol! I better make as much as I can buffing for money while I can!
Guess since they are free I can use whatever I can make - 650-750 buff packs, don't have to use 880 ones
