Thread: poison + disease...

What is the point in doing this in PvP other than to grief somebody? I am tired of CMs crying that the poison and disease resist buffs nerfed CM (wow might take 2 or even 3 attempts to land your disease or poison). I am also tired of hearing CMs saying they got nerfed with the 4 second delay (ooh it takes you 4 seconds now to disease and poison me rather than the 2 it used to). Now I realize I will get a swarm of 1 stars but I could give a flying **edit** about that. I am just wondering if anybody actually has an intelligent response to this question.

If you are tired of hearing it...Don't bring it up.

I haven't heard anything about it in a while.

If you are here to get flamed and one-starred, try the jedi forums. Probably get a quicker response there.

If I land a poison on you in PvP, you will take a certain amount of damage. If one of your HAM pools drop to 0 or below, you will become incapacitated. You can read about this further in the manual.

If I land a disease on you in PvP, you will take a certain amount of damage in wounds. If you are wounded, you have to heal before rejoining a fight. Wounds can be healed bymedics and entertainers.

Good luck with continuing to learn about the combat medic profession!

"What is the point in doing this in PvP other than to grief somebody?"

The point of pvp is for everyone to sing songs around a camp fire rosting marshmellows and holding hands. Actuly the point of pvp is to kill the other person as effeciently and as quickly as possable and move on to the next target. As soon as the enemy dies they clone and theyre back in the fight. Dots that cause wounds are a form of attrition meaning we hinder your abilitie to get back in the fight. There are certin risks when pvping and dots are one of them.

"I am tired of CMs crying that the poison and disease resist buffs nerfed CM"

There is a thing called balance, I'm shure you may have heard the word before. The devs stated our dot strength was balanced but due to the outrage of cry baby wanna be pvp gods they caved and gave you what you wanted. Even with the tools your not satisfied, you want more. If you give a mouse a cookie....

"I am also tired of hearing CMs saying they got nerfed with the 4 second delay"

This was not a nerf but a balance although the problem still remains unfixed. Havla was and is bugged. The cm, doc, and chef corrospondent informed us that it was a "hot topic" on the devs agenda. It was never fixed, only band aided. And no before it took 4 seconds to toss a poison before havla.

The rating of your post is determined by its content. Was there a debatable topic? Constructive critism? Or just a rant.

"I am just wondering if anybody actually has an intelligent response to this question"

The question is can you accept an intelligent responce even if your proven wrong.

I'm sorry where in my post did I say in PvP you shouldnt incap and deathblow? If your head wasnt so far up your ass you would have seen that I asked what is the point in diseasing and poisoning the same person other than to grief and apparently you didnt read the last sentence in the thread either. I never said I had a problem with getting wounds or from cloning, what I do have a problem with is a gay ass **edit**ing CM throwing a poison then throwing a disease on the same ham bar, afterwards typing /burst while they just run away and the poison+disease causes me to tripple cap.

Yeah I am 'shure' I have heard of balance. Have you? Did you realize every other profession gets a 75 percent damage reduction in PvP and yet the CMs do not? PvP god? haha dont make me laugh woman. "gave you what you wanted" No if I had what I wanted CMs would also get the 75 damage reduction with their poisons/disease in PvP.

It was a question if you didnt realize what one of those are. I ask something and somebody replies rather than just prove themselves to be a stupid ass... If you also didnt realize, anything that may go against your belief that CMs you should be the end all of PvP it gets 1 starred or flamed.

The Question really is did you have an intelligent response or just stupid rambling about nothing that has to do with the question?

Who said I was trying to flame? I asked a simple question and people on these boards wanted to flame me. If you read what I posted it was a response to what they posted, I never flamed anybody. Good job though responding to me proving you wrong.

If I may just chime in - inflicting damage or wounds is not griefing.

Also, if you are going to pvp go out prepared. Poison and disease resist packs are fairly effective so get a doctor to throw some on ya
