Well my friends, I have some bad news. I have given up combat medic. It was not an easy decision, but I have wanted a change for a while. I had made numerous posts defending the CM profession and will continue to do so. I have been a CM since August 03 and proudly wear the mastery badge. I needed this change as I was burning out. Looking for resources to boost my poisons another 10-20 damage points was getting tiresome and I wanted to try something else. I will be back as a CM. Keep up the good fight. I hope I can still post here without getting flamed. lol.

To quote a famous govenor "I'll be back."
hehehe.
And remember kids, always throw area focus and willpower disease volleys after your first mind area poisonattack. The targets wont see their primary stats get hit and will ignore the disease tick. then when the damage is done, its costs them more to do mind related tasks and their mind doesnt regen as fast.

It is with a heavy heart and after much consideration that I have decided to stop being a tailor for now. Last night I dropped all of my tailor skills and took up some of my old combat skills I had before I became a tailor. I have always considered myself a fashion hound, changing my outfit weekly if not daily and trying out new looks, helping new entertainers out by giving them free new BE dancer and musician outfits, just plain having fun.
My business has always been slow, and when JTL came out, I watched it go to zero. I've been whining to my good friend Rankin about how I'm wasting my time being a crafter and merchant. He kept telling me to "stop thinking". This refers to me pondering changing professions. I have historically gotten bored and completely revamped my character once every few months. Smuggler/Tailor for the past 6 months was the longest I have stayed any profession so far. I guess I was idle enough to think too much.
I will miss being a tailor, mostly for making my own clothes and the smiles I could put on newbie's faces. But lately, I have been busy at home with my baby and when I can spare time to log on, I come on, see I have made no sales and have no orders, and I sorta muddle around thinking about what to do. Too much time to think brings rush ideas usually. This has not been a rush however. Before I was a Smuggler/Tailor, I was a Bounty Hunter. I liked the idea of being a Star Wars character running around hunting my marks. Well, I'm going back to some of my older ways and going Smuggler/BH Pistols/Pistol Tech/Commando. I'll hopefully be a PvE monster again.
I want to thank all of you for the wonderful community you have here. You folks have always been very supportive and friendly and that's something lacking in most of the profession communities. I wish you all well and the very best. I'll keep popping my head in here hoping to see the new outfit I'll try and snag. I'll have to find myself a tailor on Wanderhome who will make me stuff now. Who knows, I may come back some day.
I also want to put out an offer to any newbie tailors on Wanderhome to contact me and I'll see what I can do about getting you some components and resources for free to help you out.

Sorry to see you go... always sad to lose a dedicated tailor.
If it is indeed for the best, however, then good luck, and we hope you enjoy yourself... check in on us form time to time!

I think everyone can understand being frustrated with a profession. If you ever decide to come back to the tailoring community, know that we will welcome you back as an old friend. Good luck with your new profession(s)!
By the way...your baby is absolutely adorable!
