i dont pvp a lot and normally when i do its when itef myself supporting someone else. anyway a few nights ago i was helping a friend finish his village quest along with another friend who is a jedi. it was like the last day for phase 3 and we had the commander on our way to the village when 3 bhs pop up. they didnt look very scary
but they were in the way. so i teffed myself healing my friend then i poisoned the bh who had the mission on my friend. i didnt use my best stuff on her, just kinda did it to tell her that "we cant play right now." so my friend incaps her, tells her we cant play and we leave without db. now originally i was on my bike and had got off to get rid of the bh and i continued on foot helping keep the aggros off my other friend who was escorting. i got 1km away and realised i didnt store and that probably my bike would be gone. sure enough it was. it didnt upset me, its justa bike and i go through them faster than crates of food, armor and weapons. maybe go through them as fast as i go through a run of stims.
what did upset me was that i thought i was friendly to her. i could have hit her wiith a nasty disease out in the middle of dathomir. i could have hit her with disease for her secondaries leaving her to wait for a doc that carries secondaries, which arent many. i could have even killed her or incapped her after diseasing her just to let the disease do its stuff. but i didnt.
anyway whats your takeon using diseases?some deem them unnecessary, others say excessive. whatabout you, do you like sending people away withblack bars?

As long as it dosen't go as far as griefing, what's to stop you?
I didn't normally blackbar intentionally. I just usually throw them in with the poisons to annoy them.
Im too conservative with my money to stack it unecessarily, I'd save those diseases for another encounter.

Disease is perfectly appropriate in all cases, especially with BH gank squads. Jedi battles are high stakes, and a BH shouldn't take a mission if they can't handle the consequences.
Generally, people don't worry about landing a KD/dizzy on me when I can't defend it or using a mind fire DOT. The BHs you ran into should have had better buffs or a doc with them.

I only throw disease to be mean
Use on jedi and in jedi fights, costs em more to heal the wounds off. And of course if someone is being mouthy and talking trash, they get blackbarred. I still have disease packs I made months ago, save them for the right times

Throw em on the bounty hunters.
If they can't run with the big dogs, they had better stay on the porch.

I disease others as much as possible. I like disease better then poison for PvP, reason being is even after I die, witch is pretty easy to do for most melee fighters, I come back and watch them tick. Another great tactic is to disease and then run out of range, but dont peace, that way a tkm cant heal it because you cant meditate in combat. plus, seeing someon db another then drop with a tick is great fun. its even better when they tripple incap from it, especially if they just kicked your butt! I get a lot of nasty tells from the 250 ticks to mind I get from my loted comp mind C's. and if you realy want to make them angry, hit them wwith an area focus too, especially with the doc, they wont realize that people are still diseased with all the states up there and no black showing until they diag and see everyone maxed on focus wounds.

1. You always DB, never leave them incapped.
2. Only disease if it helps you get the DB.
3. Disease every pool you can if they clone zerg.

/agree .... mostly
I have no problems leaving someone laying on their back ticking away. If its convenient, sure I'll db, unless they are another CM as well, clone zerging is a CM's friend. As far as only disease if it helps you get the db, well 9/10 times it will, it never will prevent you from getting it! If you mean just hop off your bike, disease and go, no, thats just dumb, thats like a 10 year old chucking rocks at the freeway. If you are fighting them, lay it on them, everything you have, stack your poisons and disease away. I can tell you that there isnt a much better feeling then incapping somone without using a weapon! Especially when they are attacking you! (but the t-21 is nice backup, just in case)

Of course it's mean. This is war, and war is about doing mean things to one's enemies. It's no meaner to use a disease than it is to use a poison or a ranged or melee weapon. In the thick of battle, you use everything at your disposal to hurt your enemy and save yourself and your buddies.

The only time it can be considered "mean" or "excessive", is if you use it in a duel against friends or guildies. Other than that, stack that b!tch with everything you have.

Hmmm, I hope my guildies don't think that way.
