Thread: shock, hemorage & traumatise who uses these?

I use shock sometimes, only so i can land states (which do increase damage taken by target, and lowers their accuracy too)


The other two I use sometimes if I see the target is low already on mind or action...but honestly don't know how well they work



thyroid/electolyte/fire/poison/kd/root/stimD/ruby for the win

if a guy is speed buffed and genraly fast anyway ill use hemorage and trauma sometimes instead of debuffing the speed. No action is better than lots of action but slower sometimes.

Shock is also good when in group fights it helps everyone land lots of effects easyer and thats not usualy a bad thing.

was wondering since everyone seems to have it in for us across the forums, what the third tree in CM actually does. yes i know what its supposed to do, all well and good. its just so pitafully weak. i tried food that gave me +250 mind regen, a booster blue adna mind buff and still only regened a few seconds faster than not doing anything. adding our CM stuff to that with or without food is hardly noticable. anyone else even use these as a valid part of their tactics?

I use Shock to stick Intimidate, it's great... really helps stick it on the tougher stuff.

Anybody know if shock reduce the defense vs warcry ?

And vs KD ?

or its just stat as stun/root/dizzy etc

I always use traumatize while hunting jedi first. I don't like half hour fights, so I always go for a 'post-cu mind incap' instead of trying to run out their whole force bar. Inexperienced players will try to heal too fast and possibly not have any stims out, and will blow half their mind in the first 90 secs. /love trauma

I really dont like shock as the reward vs. the mind cost doesn't balance out with me. I do love to use traumatize and hemmorage for small group PvP where its invaluable. People cry in a fight when hemmorage lands on them. For large scale PvP though I really cant afford to blowthose MIND pool points which will be needed for healing.


Hemmorage and traumatise are practically worthless against NPC's though.

i use hemm/trauma all teh time


if ur up against a swords or any other heavy damage dealer, u definately wanna use hemm


if ur up against a healer use trauma, cuz healer defenses are horrible, if u can stop thier mind u have them

xx4x is easily the most effective combat tree... and the most underrated...
hemorrage literally rapes your oppenent much better than thyroid.

what would you rather?

A) your opponent can heal, stand up, and not have to worry about action, because they are attacking so slow that it has time to regen
or
B) your opponent keeps getting spammed with -Too Tired- as they mash buttons, have to be kd'd for much longer, and still cant attack very fast
???

as long as you have a healing line to get through the first wave of spammage then your golden... i typically just stand back and let them smoke me as i heal, wait for their action to die then start my offense..

shock is EXTREMELY helpful vs jedi for any states and for pistoleers it makes intimidate stick MUCH mroe often, which can mean the difference between life and death.

and mind regens really slow anyways... vs any doctors, jedi or CM's it can be the diciding factor... all you have to do is slap ranged shot on auto attack... and make them heal heal heal
then when its low....
