Thread: CM Gases, how often do they spawn?

Like the titel says, I 'm fairly new to the profession and will Master tonight.
I've been collecting resources for some time now, but I haven't seen the Tolium or Eleton reactive gases anywhere.
When was the last time they spawned on Wanderhome?

The spawns are rare and far between.
The last shift of Eleton on Lowca was OQ 6!!
They really need to increase the spawn rate on CM resources.

Well to give you an idea, the first 900+ spawn of Tolium reactive gas spawned on Chilastra the first time this week...first time ever..since launch...thats 1 year and 3 months

Varies from server to server. On Gorath we have a lot of good gas spawns the past two months. On other servers they have not had good eleton for like 6 months lol

Gorath is tha bomb for good gasses... now it only decent titanium aluminum would spawn as well.

I could use a good spawn of class 2 as well
I don't remember last one we had on Gorath.

Thats pretty sad that it spawns so rarely.
Have the Devs commented on this, nevermind, I didnt think so.

About once a month is correct. I've seen about a 3 month gap between spawns before and I've also seen two spawns of each gas at the same time. The problem isn't really getting some gas, it's getting quality gas. To give you some idea about what we face, Scylla's best Tolium (a very nice 944 OQ/ 966 DR) is 5 months old and the best Eleton (given the DR limitation of eleton, agood 947 OQ, 35 DR) is 9 months old.
It's far from ideal, but at least we don't need specific ore or gemstone types. Those can be really rare.

How good are you holding out for? Titanium Aluminum has a DR cap of 174, so you will find anything better than 1000 OQ, 174 DR. Other caps:
Class 1 Radio 474 DR
Class 2 Liquid Petro 600 DR
Eleton Gas 400 DR (approximate - the gases used to have different caps, but SOE changed them in December)
Tolium Gas and Yavinian Fiberplast are uncapped.
