I have always been very proud to be a Master CM, for the most part, we are a rare and unique group. But recently, I have noticed more and more people, especially those who have been in the game for awhile asking me for advice, resources, and whether or not I sell my wares. Is this attributable to everyone bandwagoning on to CM because we don't have the 75% reduction inpvpor what? Have any of you other CM's noticed this as well?

I think the holiday holocrons havelevelled out the distribution of players amongst the professions somewhat. I bet the chefs and the squad leaders are saying the same thing. The cantinas are more packed with entertainers than I remember too.

I agree that Holocron had an affect, but I don't think increased number of CM are all holo-grinders.

I think Holocron taught many players that certain professions don't take long to master or much effort. On top of my head I would list entier healing line (Medic, Doctor, CM) and entertiner line (Dancer, musician, ID).

Among these easy to grind profession, CM have most effectivness when they are taking break from their Jedi. Since Jedi are by nature great offensive, CM are perfect complement as healing profession and their effectiveness in PvP aren't bad.

Ofcourse these CM don't have the patience to make their own poison/disease nor any other CM stuff, but they soon realized that there are always ready provider of these goods for which I am grateful since they are making me very VERY rich.

I would expect continual increase in CM population and no I don't think making poison/disease 75% will have any impact on these.

Just about to start CM today. Have been a tailor since the beginning (not dropping that) and CM was the one other prof that I really wanted to do. The fact that I accidentally double clicked my holo and it told me to do CM just nudged me to do it sooner

People gravitate towards the powerful professions/combos as they are brought into the lime light so to speak People see CM's totally decimating the battlefield, thus they want to become one

Have you tried mastering Dancer or Musician. They aren't the fastest proffessions to master by any means. Even macroing all day it can take you a week to master. Longer if you aren't, and even longer if you don't have a Master CM on another account readily available to disease people or use /healMind.

It however is an easier profession to master, just tedious and takes a fair amount of time. Any of the Artisan Elite or Medic Elite professions can be mastered much quicker.

and to think I masterd CM just to look cool lobbing the Areas =P J/K!!

I had no other plans for this particular character than to be Medic...always leaning to CM..though I played with doc and tka skills. Once I started on CM though--with help from a guildie who Mastered Doc in no time at all =P--I found an actually enjoyable class to play! I love being "support" The people Ive interacted with for trainings have been warm and friendly for the most part.

Course healing from 30m away...or within an area range of 30m is way ego boosting! =D

I did it after i did some PvP one day and saw how a combat medic riped our group a new one with the poisions. Now i think there are alot of people doing it as a holo profession.

I got Novice CM today. It was with my 2nd account on Eclipse, and my plan with this charachterwas to become CM.

Its not some Holocron cause to this, I just wanted a change of pace from my other Commando char.
