Thread: wound healing?

the whole name combat medic suggests you're best off doing your stuff in combat. What about would healing? I'm not talking about the wounds you get when cloning...but the ones you get from diseases etc. Shouldnt a combat medic be able to heal wounds while in combat? (high lvl PvE fightsmight need that type of healing).

I've never had all that much call to do wound healing in battle.
If you want to heal wounds in the field as a CM, get some Master Doc made Wound Healing Stim C's and have a medical droid follow you around.
I guess what you are asking is, shouldn't CM's be able to do this without a droid.

I've never seen the need to heal wounds in combat. The only time I've ever had to heal wounds near combat was when defending our bases in Xangern, and even then I was inside (and a doctor I might add, not CM) the hospital area. In all reality, you've more jobs to do in combat that to heal wounds, let that happen when we're all resting afterwards or during a break in the fighting.

obviously you've been lucky, I've had to leave with 1/1/1 in ham after the vette several times. But that was just one example.
I became a CM for the support...not to run around with a rifle through coronet throwing mind poison on people (that's what CM seems to be about at the moment...poisoning people...doesnt sound very medic-like does it?)

I'm wondering if my wound healing is underpowered compared to others or not. I seem to average about 67 points at a time. Am I missing something? I'm a master doctor. What is everyone else healing wounds for, and how do you get your results if you are healing more than I am?

Your the same as others. Yes, I think it is rather low.
See the sticky that compairs different abilities of docs for other heals as well.

It's a doctor only ability. I sort of wish I could heal wounds however since I can't even begin to count the number of messages I've gotten over the past couple of days along the lines of..
"Can you heal my wounds? Please??"
