Me and some friends were talking (after we all got wiped out) about why Combat Medics do not get revive. Correct me if I am wrong (I am a CM and I do not have any skills in Doctor) but a Combat Medic is a medic who heals damage and a Doctor tends to wounds to HAM.
With all that said why does a Combat Medic not have a Revive also. Since we are out their fighting and healing in the field would it not be a good thing for the CM to have.
So why not put a Revive in when we reach Master CM or a 4th tier skill and not give us the ability to make the kits so we would have to purchase them from a Doctor. Keep revive in the doctor also but just give us the skill to use the res. kits.
As this is a simple suggestion and I admit I do have not played a Doctor don't Flame me to hard. I would just like to see everyone's thoughts and I would like a Docotors thoughts also.
As a Master Doctor and Master Combat Medic on the tarquinas server.....I will say that I hope that they DON'T give the revive ability to CM's. Right now, the only reason I am even keeping my Doctor skills is to be able to revive. If they also give that ability to CM's, it would all but make the Doctor worthless.....except for the people that like to sit on their A*S*S in the medical centers all day and heal wounds. I'm a group healer, and I can heal wounds just fine without the need of the Master Doctor skills.
And if they give CM's the ability to revive, but not make revive packs.....then I will simply keep Doctor Med Crafting 4, and drop every other doctor skill. I think you will see thousands of people like me that will all become CM's and drop their doctor skills immediately if they give CM's the ability to revive.
nah revive is in the right place...
its a good skill for doctors to have to get out of the med center...
besides field medics/combat medics dont revive people in real life...the real magic happens by the doctors in hospital...

I could go both ways on this discussion.It's nice that doctors can revive which gives them something to do besides heal in the field, but look at the doctor message boards. 95% of the posts there are complaints about having to leave the hospital to do anything. I know the forums don't represent the majority of the players, but it saddens me to see so many people think they should be like entertainers and do nothing but stand in the med center from novice to master.
Maybe they should give CM the revive ability since so many doctors refuse to participate in anything that looks like combat.
Revive packs can be experimented down to 55 med use, so all you really need is the 6 skill points into doctor and WALA! revive.
Except for the fact that you need the "Skill" revive which you cant get with 6 skill points.
I am thinking about doing this but what do you guys do for surveying?
