Can anyone tell me approximately how much and how fast disease damage hits for? Oh and how long? For each of the different packs?

Thanks

They take off about 100 every 40 seconds.

I told you all I was being ignorant. I didn't have the skill level to use the disease even though I could craft it. Oh the shame, the shame...

lol

it may sound weak when compared to say a single headshot from a rifle....

but once your poisoned/diseased, your pretty much Fubar unless you have a doctor standing by to counter it with a heal. Give it a minute, and your down with a mind incap.

It's very slow, if anything it's a minor annoyance. It starts at -3 woundevery 10 seconds
It slowly gains momentum and starts going to -4, -5, -6every 5-10 minutes.

It doesn't damage enough to swayduring battle much at all. Even if someone doesn't have a disease cure pack one health wound stim can keep them alive for a long time. And they rarely use the disease attack. It's probally 1 out of 300 hits actually disease.

If it started out as -10 or -20 then it might be something to worry about. The only nice thing about, itwon't wear off till it's cured or they die. So I guess if you want to have your mynocks disease something, then run away to safe distanceand wait 3 or 4 hours for it to die, then I guess you can have fun with that.

I can't believe how debilitating diseases are. Maybe I am just unlucky but it seems that I'm going to have to grind to doctor way sooner than originally planned. 5 health wounds every time hurts so bad. I was at almost 200 before I got to the closest town, which didn't help much since there wasn't a single doctor on all of Talus. Am I just clueless or is this really a problem for others?

lately... its the biggest problem I have. well... besides finding good spots to plant my miners. anyway.... yeah disease sucks. Almost everything big that I've fought recently has hit me with a disease on the first hit. Bull Rancors and Giant Dune Kimos are off of my list now without a doctor around. I dont care for spending 6 grand for a round trip to Nerfomir to get sucky mission payouts, nordo I care toget diseased on the first hit by one of the only creatures on the planet that drops anything worth a few bucks. All I can do then is turn around, go home and sit in the cantina for a while. Hunting trip over after 1 fight and out 6k of cash. yay!

I dont know if it's just me but it seems like poison, disease and bleedhitsare up on many creatures. I've been poisoned 3 times by sycks in the past week. I dont think I had ever been poisoned by a syck before now.One got me yesterday as soon as I logged on and walked out of my house. BAM! Diseased. Just like that. We've only got half a dozen master docs in our city though. Not hard to get healed around there.

This all makes me very glad that I'm a doctor. I've been getting poisoned about 3-4 times/night on Naboo.

I feel your pain. My Test Center character got diseased. I dumped all my stuff in the bank, then committed suicide. That cleared it right up.

the actual disease/poison attacks aren't doing more damage than before... but they DID add these attacks to creatures that did not previously have them (such as GASP diseased nunas and rabid shaupauts)... and they also 'turned on' the attack for some creatures that HAD them already, and weren't using them.

mantigrue screechers and giant dune kimos, in particular, have a 'plague strike' special that is to be feared. it is an AOE disease attack that is FAR stronger than the standard 'strong disease' attack.

I HAVE heard of a skinsuit that offers disease immunity... but I don't have it, so I can't test it out. it is a mid-quest item (more than that I don't know).

Hey I am a novice combat med and I was hoping somone could help me out with somthing.

I crafted a mind disease unit and tried to use it on a creature, and it wont let me. I know I have the skill to use it and I got as close as I could to make sure it wasn't a range thing, and it still wouldn't work, I didn't get any messages about why it wouldn't work or anything, so I was hoping I could get some help on this.

Can they only be used in pvp? or is there just some strange glitch going on that I need to send a bug report on?

any help would be great as I am really lost on what is going on.

Thanks
