Anybody got stats on mind healing, or do we only come to the boards to complain?

I used it twice...trust me, i'm very glad i ONLY used it twice.

Both times i filled up the entire Mind pool when i healed. One was 270 and the other was 490.

The fun part was, i got to take 50+ wounds on each heal. So using this command twice i now have over 115 wounds in Mind, Focus, and Willpower (each stat has that many wounds).

I won't be using this worthless command again.

Each Mind Stat? **edit** to hear Kave talk about it, it was only supposed to be Mind Wounds not Focus and Will too....I won't bother to use it either hehe

Yes, each mind stat. Really freaked me out the first time I used it cuz I opened the character interface, looked to the far right and saw 100+ in that column. Turns out it was a new encumbrance catagoy and I was wearing armor at the time.

Actual wound cost seems to be around 50 for me. Haven't tried to use it with large ammounts of BF yet though.

Are there going to be stims?

No stims. It's an ability. Look in your macro buttons under other. There should be a hot key in there that is called "mind heal"

I tested it on a friends mind after i brought it down to 1 with a poison. It healed the entire thing and gave me around 150 focus/willpower wounds.

Here is my experience -

1) Heals 600 to 800 mind damage (may do more than 800, but that is what my test subject had)

2) First use (at 600 focus) gave me 40/41/42 wounds. Second use (at 559 focus) gave me 43/44/46 wounds. So amount of wounds is affected by your current focus.

3) At 600 focus, it cost me 192 mind damage to perform.Second use cost me 202. So mind damage is affected by current focus.

4) Both uses cost 9 battle fatigue. I would need to run focus down much more to see if focus affects battle fatigue.

5) You can't heal your own mind.

6) Thereappears to beno timer on the heal.

So, it heals a lot of mind. If you have master musician buffs, you should be able to do the mind heal at almost no cost (possibly battle fatigue though).

Another interesting consequence of #2 and #3 is that you can incapacitate yourself when doing this. If you have enough mind to cover the damage, it will let you do the command, but if you don't have enough mind to cover the damage *and* the wounds, you will incapacitate yourself. It happened to me once during testing.

This is the worst "fix" they could think of.

1) I didn't learn RANGE Healing so I have to walk up to someone and /heal mind

2) it's one thing for downtime to happened because someone got mind incapped and once they get up they need to rest. It's another for everyone to wait on me to watch an entertainer because I have 400 mind wounds.

3) so when I get Eyeshot spammed in PvP, it's the same as before since I can't heal my mind.

Jesus, why even bother with CM anymore.

Given me the ability to heal mind damage was a great concept. but this stinks.

I don't go hunting with fairy dancers therefore I will not be healing anyone mind since It will do nothing for me but hurt me in the long run.

I'm saying that *if* you get your focus up enough (via food or musician buffs), then it won't cost hardly any wounds. I still need to test if it causes the same number of battle fatigue under those circumstances. That could be the limiting factor.
