Thread: CM should have camping skills.
Hello fellow CM's.
After master CM and playing as one for 2 months I feel that we should have a camping skill added to our class.
We are the field doctors, right? We have burst and terrain bonuses to help us in the field yet we do not have the simple ability of being able to build a camp. As I see our role we should have a craftable/buildable field camp/med facilityso that we can heal wounds, etc while out with a group.
There is no reason for us to be forced to spend 15 skill pts on novice scout just so we can build a camp when our major role is to keep people alive out in the field.
Since v's and mounts have been released more and more people are dropping scout all together so we just can't expect to have someone in a group to have camping abilities anymore.
This would not hurt the scouting and ranger classes because we would need to buy the ingrediants to build the camps from them.
Just looking for something basic we can deploy as cm's. The scouts and Rangers should have the uber camps not us.
We just need something.
What CM skill do we have that requires a camp/building/city etc to use?

The only skill that would require a camp is would heling or buffing. Wound healing is the role of the Medics/Docs. So if anyone would get such a skill it wouldbe more logical toinclude in one ofthose two trees. The argument that CM's are supposed to be in the field and Docs are supposed to stay in the hospitals is total BS, so dont even try and push thatargument.
Which would require a camp.

In real life I can go to Wal-Mart and buy a small tent and set up a camp all by myself with no scouting skills at all. Why can't my Combat Medic buy a small tent from a Scout/Ranger and set up a small camp? In fact, why can't any of my professions do that?
You all sound like bounty hunters. Stop trying to boagrt others skills please.
