Heya, prospective CM here. Thinking about a CM/BH template for hunting Jedi. along with a dot pistol. They dont all have force heal right? =) Does anyone have any experience in poisons vs jedi? or advice on the matter? my defenses will be utter crap however, this, I understand... but I'm bored, and want to play around with some templates =)

I've talked to people that have used this quite effectively against low level jedi, but its not practical in most situations.

I'm gonna say this is a bad idea, although interesting

CM is probably one of the most effective ways to get a Jedi to drain his force pool. But I would not run around thinking your gonna kill alot of jedi's as a CM. At least on the higher end all it serves is as a good way to deplete they're force pools.

Your lack of defenses, or even offenses are gonna get you killed however.

Sooo... Death likely; chance of success, slim to none... Sounds fun =)

Agains jedi who run away and doesn't have force cure it is excellent.

Against a jedi who knows what he's doing you will be so dead it just isn't funny.

In ganksquads you might be a valuble addition, but then you might as well ditch BH entirely.

I almost did this myself, simply to have some fun. Your best bets are

CM 4/0/0/4 3/0/4/0 BH or

0/0/0/4CM 3/0/4/0 BH Novice brawler (for intimidate)

I'm not a big fan of ganksquads, and this is my second character who was formerly a lousy politician, and an even worse architecht. So i'm turning her into something fun, strictly fun. Well funded yet ineffective is the likely result. But so long as I amuse myself, it will be a worthwhile endeavor.

That just sounds hilarious. Now your well on your way to becoming a pathetic excuse for a BH/CM. No offense intended.

None taken at all =) And just to amuse you here is the template I've decided on...

Master Medic

Master Marksman

Combat Medic 0-0-0-4

Scout 4-0-0-0

BH - 3-0-0-0

Brawler 0-0-0-4

I plan on attempting a few poisons, running away a bit, and then coming back strong with some intimidate & stun& a littledotted Janta Staff action; and a pathetic excuse for center of being. All the while healing myself as I get cut to shreds. I will be using some IMP psgs, and I've got plenty of foods n' stuff to fool around with. I may even employ some detonation droids. What with all the laughing the jedi will be doing, he might not even notice. So beware! or not, depending on your presentsituation.

I strongly suggest getting at LEAST 2004 CM, and probablyas the first line has the effectiveness mod... with just novice, poisons do what, 1/20th listed effectiveness on your packs?

Ah, I was unaware. See this is why I posted in this forum =) I'll move my polarms skills over to CM then. I should still be able to wield wood staffs & stone knives =) What a fearsome competitor I will be... I can't wait.

Novice CM will do 1.05 times the effectiveness rating of a pack

1004 CM will do 1.20 times the effectiveness rating of a pack

2004 CM will do 1.35 times the effectiveness rating of a pack

3004 CM will do 1.50 times the effectiveness rating of a pack

4004 CM will do 1.75 times the effectiveness rating of a pack
