What is better? Regardless of skill points used or anything like that, I'm wondering how the heals of these two compare.

I like the CM myself, because it give you bacta spray and toss.
Ranged healing is nice when a group mate is about to get DB'd.

Doc4000, because you can use Bacta Jab Enhancer and heal for over 1200+ with ONLY 5% mind!

Ihave one toon with CM4xxx and one with Doc 4xxx. The Doc can heal slightly better, and do so for longer. But that toon is melee so is saving 29 skill points by not having CM. Eventually, skill points do become an issue.

I have another question actually. Do both the CM and Doctor heals only use mind, or do some of them use action too (if so, which ones?)

And I said skill points doesn't matter because I'm always planning on getting the 0004 line in Doctor and the 0004 line in CM, so since I've got the pre-reqs for both already I don't need to worry about skill points

All heals use both Mind and Action although the action use isn't all that much. As for the difference its a tough choice. Bacta toss can be had by taking 0200 medic although its not as powerful as its higher cousins although the extra healing efficiency helps. It still gives you the ranged heal needed to boost someone or get them out of an incap. Doctors have alot more single target healing ability though.

Bacta infusion is one of my favorite heals around especially when things get hairy. One shot and it will keep your guy going for a longer amount of time leaving you semi free to tend to others or it will help mitigate damage you are taking over time. However, its countered by bacta spray which while lower powered affects the entire group. In PvE its almost a suicide skill but in PvP its a huge benefit.

So if you want to know which is best you really have to look at what the purpose is for. For soloing PvP or PvE doctor is your best bet while it helps with group support. For group support PvP or PvE combat medic is the best while it helps with soloing.

Group or solo, you have to decide which suits you.

As a MCM I have to say that I CAN TOO!!!

I very rarely use bacta toss when I go solo.

So as a MCM I also have to say: I CAN HEAL FROM 32m!

Bacta spray and toss come from Medic skills, not CM.
