Thread: mbh and mcm or mcm and mp? suggestions?

trying to figure out what would be better for pvp and pve? any suggestions? pro's and con's? any help is appreciated thnx

That's the template I use. You can't get Jedi player mission without MBH, but you can flagSpecial Forcesand go looking for them instead.

Gotta figure, BH is for hunting marks, PC and NPC, but you can only use just 1 weapon at a time so meanwhile, 2 branches are wasted. Go BH only if you want to hunt marks but if you dont really care id say youd be better with your weapon as pistoleer.

Mpistols/MCM is great. MBH is if you want to **edit** jedi and loot.

what i meant, is if i pvp a jedi with mp,mcm and doc 0004 do i stand a chance if i play it smartly? thnx again for all the replies

Yes, but again, it is highly dependent on your equipment and skill... with some luck.... the only downfall to that templete(which is mine) is the lack of a decent nockdown attack...


I have yet to win a duel against any good jedi i know...

however i have only lost 1 duel against any non jedi i know...


but i do not view Duel's as PvP... in PvP there is no such thing as 1on1

so you find the problem with mp,mcm and doc 0004 is no knockdown move?do you think if you went up the tree in bh that had a knock down, and drop doc that you would be better off? i dunno, have doc is very enticing, you know buff yourself whenever where ever. i dunno, soo many decisions!!!!

what i'm saying, is the lack of having a ranged... na even decent knockdown move (firarm strick sucks cause of the warmuptimer) remove's some of the tactical use we could get out of a well timed knockdown... by no means is it a bad templete... in fact i think with it you get the a great combanation of the 3 classes

well i have decided to go with mp and mcm but am considering either adding the rest into doc 0004 or bh 0111 or mm and carbs 0110. reason for bh 0111, i would get critical, knockdown and confusion, doc is obivous reasons, and mm and carbs 0110 would be speed and defense. so what do u all think is best? or have you tried any of these? pro's and con's of each anyone? thnx again for any and all help

I played a long time as MBH MP CM4XXX, really good template IMO, I rolled many jedi with this template, however I recently changed to MBH MCM because of all the DWB raids I was doing I wanted to be able to rez people. The biggest advantage I feel over MBH MP is that combat medic has battle armor mitigation, so you get better all round protection vs ranged and melee, rather than if your a Pistoleer and your wearing high energy recon, you really lack in kinetic resists and soon as someone whips out a scatter, your in big trouble.


With pistols, you have a lot more speed, better defense and a much better root as a master pistoleer, recon mitigation which has higher energy resists for jedi.


With combat medic, you have less speed/defense , but you have combat speed debuff, dots and a snare, battle mitigation which is better for all round PVP IMO.


This is just my opinion and may not necessarily be correct.


Oh and sorry i didnt read your first initial question right. lol forgive me its early
