Thread: New Structure Idea Tournament Arena

I think it would be fun to have new structure that is set up to do hosts sparring tournaments. These would be great to add to any combat city to give guilds a place to tune their skills, gain a little bragging rights and most of all have some fun. I know we manage without them but it would be pretty cool to have a structure especially made for it. What do you guys think?

They had something like that before they were called pvp and pve battlefields. Well they are like your idea only that you had to be either rebel or imperial to join and also ready to build walls, turrets, units etc. But once the battle starts at the pvp fields its basicly just players dueling each other to death.
They removed it due to bugs and revamping it.

I brought up the idea like back when the game started just about or a few months after of a coliseum(sp) for sparring with prizes for winning and such,.

This is a great idea but should be added to the NPC cities. It would be nice if this became the primary or only vent for non-factional PVP. No decay,no xp loss just prizes and fun within the walls of the arena. This way maybe the only PVP in the streets will be Factional and the rest will be in the arena.

Well adding them to NPC cities would be a good way to bolster their value and resons to go them (NPC cities that is). preferably in cities which are not currently major traffic hubs giving us reason to travel to these cities. I'd be for that.
To some of the replies above. 1. Not claiming originality on this idea just posting it into this new thread where maybe the past ideas where buried on server threads, a new thread in the new forum may get more Dev attention. 2. Battlefields were fun and I think they should be brought back but a tournament arena and a battlefield are 2 different things completetly in my book. the battlefields are "battlefields" inetended for GCW warfare not duelingthe tournament is all about 1 on 1 dueling.
I think it would be awesome to see some huge techno-collesium rising over the city and crowds gathered ready to duel and watch duels take place. Anyway just an idea maybe some people can expand upon it.
