i love being mayor , but i also love PvPing why should we be penalised by the taking up of skill points ,im sure this argument has been brought up before , i just want to get other peoples feelings on the matter , i can not really see any negatives for making it a proffession where skill points are not needed , i hate having to juggle everything around when i need to add or remove things from the city

agreed, If it is going to be a "passive" profession, than it shouldnt waste skill points.
But I don't believe it should be a passive profession at all, it should require as much active participation in it as any other profession, and bring content into the game
good idea for it here....

nice link , if the proff was run more along those lines stated i would not begrudge the points spent , hell id even get an alt to run the bloody thing , but as it stands being mayor has no real perks and works against your other proffs , good ideas so far keep em coming

if it didn't require skill points, then everyone and their little dog too, would be a politician, and you wouldn't be able to move - it would be city to city to city with maybe 1k inbetween.
Think of static farms of harvesters.. do you reall want to do that on the scale of cities??

This needs to be discussed in the politician forum (where there are already discussions on this topic you can post in)
