I ve been testing the new city deco for our next event.
And i m afraid to say, as much as i was excited when i heard about it, so disapoited we are now as we see the completly screwed up live version.
It s a disaster, a waste of time and money.

I just been at a hotel bought some stuff, banners, actor, tie,...
speeding back tothe city to place the banners....
then the wake up call

"You are too close to an object to place your rental"
i m not able to place anything inside the city
what s the use of banners or actors when i m not allowed to set them up near buildings????
This is complete nonsense
Those rentals are not usable in a city, cause you have every where gardens, lights, terminal....and houses
i have to be about 50m away from any object and it get even better
i place an imperial tent and wanted to place an actor in it, and guess what

Sorry i suggest either fix that or remove it completly

ewww...that nots cool. I was just thinking how that would be neat to have that stuff in town, or near a Guild Hall.

Same problem...
I wanted to treat my citizens by decorating our city a bit and having a lottery machine and a pavillion set up in the town square - to no avail. I even took down the parks and made sure we had a large open area for it, but as soon as the pavillion went up, NOTHING else would fit. I couldn't even set up a singlebanner in an area big enough to fit a guildhall and twohouses...
Had to move the lottery droid way off in the other corner, in a ditch, where no one can see him...
Don't even get me started on the npc actors or the jukebox. 
Fix this or get rid of it all together. We have enough problems in the game as is without these compounding things.

yep in the current way to place them
they are completly useless
just waste of time and money

Yeh. I was really annoyed at this. Most of the Event Perks I want to place will be in our city centre (between the guild hall and City Hall with a bank terminal) but due to the silly restrictions I can't

there was a postby tiggs a day or 2 ago saying there working on fixing that problem
