Lets introduce a new item to the economy. It can be a wall painting kit. It will work like a vehicle painting kit, except inside a player house. This kit would allow players to select the color of walls such as black, white, blue, or red. Walls would slowly lose color over the paints lifespan of X amount of time. Or it could be a permanent setting. This kit could allow players to theme their houses more and add to the role play of the game.
And if you have a color kit, you have to add its cousin, thetexture kit. It would apply different patterns on the walls just like the texture kits for space ships. There wouldn't have to be a large selection of styles, maybe two or three.
These kits wouldn't hurt the economy, maybe scratch it at most, because it would be really inexpensive to creat these. It would furnish the unfurnished walls of the endless amount of houses, and add a bright new aspect of the game.

Great idea but theymight have to change housesand im sure this could have a lot of problems. Be great if a new furniture item could be created: customisable painting or carpet as said. You could pick from a variety of patterns or pictures and have the ability to change the colours too.

Yes! Interior paint kits, interior carpeting/tiling kits, and some kind of kit to drop an already laid-out patio to the houses with exterior balconies...something like a few chaise lounges, a small cafe table, and some plants...maybe a coleman grill...keg...

Separate color palettes for interior and exterior walls. Have a wide range color palette for interior, but keep conservative colors for exterior walls. Colors that match the landscape so you don't have flourescent pink houses out in the savannah.

excellent idea. i dont see why the exterior of a tatooine house should be colored though. with all the sandstorms going on, paint would notlast very long.

Interior wall paint kits and Interior carpet shouldn't be as hard on the servers as outdoors.
Both interior and exterior would be cool, but I'd settle for interior
( be nice if we could get ingame pictures of our toons too...or statues of em...but that's in the vet reward thread )

Yeah, these would indeed be very cool. I'm tired of the red walls and floors of my Naboo houses, I want something different!

If need be this ability to decorate walls and floors could be part of Image Designer or Architect.
