Thread: Help with moving a building in our city.

I want to find the owner of a building in our city of Shadow Gate on Rori. It is named Alpha Site. It is not owned by one of our Guild and no one seems to know where it came from. I am trying to get rid of it. It's in the way of City Development.
Any one want to claim it or give me an idea on how to get rid of it?

I have repeatedly ask that mayors at least should me able to see the name of the owner, so you might have a slim chance of contacting the person.
if you havn't deleted it yet check your e-mail for city growth and see if there name shows up!
player cities and mayors need love from the devs!!!!

What do you mean an "email about city growth?"

Either that, or look through the list of names of people in your city (hope it's small) and tick off the ones you know live there. You should end up with a shorter list (hopefully of 1) that will be the owner of your mystery building.
Send them a mail and hope.
(And he was referring to the mails that Mayors get sent when a new building is placed.)

Thanks Tinker. Right now I am just an interested City and Guild member. I'm not Mayor yet but will be.
I'm trying to place a important structure and that's why I have been trying to figure this out. I tried to go the City Resident list - route. There are still a few names on there of players that have jumped ship with regard to SWG and no longer play.

That's the "other" nut I am trying to crack. There is no way to tell the owner of a building that is not a resident that I can see.

Send a mail to all of them - the ones that no longer play won't mind an extra mail in their inbox and you may catch the owner of the mystery building.
Ask politely if the owner of the building at XXXX, XXXX in the city of YYYY would be interested in moving their building to another location within the city limits for a small reward. Help moving items would be supplied.
That way, if they're there and either reasonable or greedy, they'll contact you to move the house. If they don't reply, they either no longer play, or are not interested in playing nice.
You'll know either way.

With maintenance now coming out of bank accounts or when the account is depleted it just sits there and no one can enter....you are so stuck with these ghost houses. /comfort.
