you have to get a BE to make one, then just drop the deed on the floor

Nope, but you can have a BE make a gurrcat and name the deed after your former pet. I currently have statues of my narglatch and gurrcat in my home.
Still, I wish I could redeed my pets, just like I can with my starship. I still have those two pets in my dpad in case I ever decide to go back to CH (or until I find a suitable owner for them).

It would be nice to "stuff" or "mount" tamed creatures. Could free up a few slots of nifty creatures I dont fight with.

Keep in mind that the deeds themselves are animated. It won't walk around, but they typically move their heads back and forth.

Yeah you can come up with some nifty things to do with pets in your house like have a kimogila guard your guild hall

I had a huf dun in my house but he was way to big for the house. Besides the dropping cleanup was getting way out of hand. So I had to set him free. I should have kept him longer because I was at 4424 in Pet Waste Removal. Almost a master even. I'm looking to get my Master title by following our bothan guild leader around. Surprisingly he's neck in neck with the ol' huf dun. rofl.

Doesn't work too well in a tat hall. All I get is his underbelly.

I had 4 rancors placed on the second story balcony of my Medium Naboo house. You couldn't see them when you entered, but if you looked up, it was like being in a rancors food bowl.
