Thread: Banning whole guilds from buildings

my guild has as its guild tag < > this has 2 spaces. this has been our tag for quite some time, we like it and we don't want to change it.
the problem is someone reported us because they claimed they were unable to ban us from some building. ok fabulous...except for one thing, we couldn't get the CSR to confirm or deny that the entire guild banning system is even functional right now. it was in the past i know, it has been done before. we ourselves were unable to ban any guild last night on our PA hall which is a public building with vendors.
if the system doesn't work, we shouldn't need to change the tag is my argument...the tag itself has no meaning, other than the symbolism we know and love 
if the system does work, all that people would need to do is use guild:[space][space] on their ban lists...no worries but we will argue that one later heh.
my question is, has anyone been able to get the whole guild banning system to work for them lately? if so is this (as the CSR told me) the correct syntax or is there a space in the command? what have people been doing to do this, say the last month or so?

It's currently bugged. You can't add a guild to a ban list or an entry list. It's a known issue and reported on the issues thread Tiggs posts.

Strange.... I just recienlt added my guild to teh entry list of my cantina witout a problem

No it if you make the private 
I usually have my cantina private so that there is a place for guilded Jedi To hide out if they need to.

It is possible to add guilds to the entry list but the ban list is still bugged. There is also some problems with the admin list I've heard

In my cantina, the entry list is bugged too.
Also, that list should be allowed to be bigger than 32. Oh, and people that are on the Admin list should not be clogging up the entry list either.

Yes, it seems that the problems are the admin list with respect to guilds, and the ban list as well. Individuals and entry work fine. This is tough if you have over 300 members....a macro is the only solution in that case.

Yep.. I have a private PA that I tried to add my guild to the entry list... couldn't do it. Kept telling me that it was an invalid name.
