Thread: Factories. Maybe a noob question but I have to ask.

Hi all.
Iread some posts saying that a mayor can place terminals on balconies/roofs.
Can we place factories on the balcony/roof of our own house? Medium and large Tatooinian houses have a large balcony. Is this possible?

NO, I am afraid you can not. Terminals and other deorations do not have a footprint, like houses do. They are more like dropping decore in a house. You stand where you want, and drop them. Factories and harvisters DO have a footprint, and so can not be laid on top of an existing structure.
But oh how I wish I could. If you live in a town, consider asking the mayor if there is an "industrial section" of town. Some place that is within the town limits, and therefor free from random spawns. This is the best option to keep crafters avile while loading factories. Otherwise, you just have to slap it as close to your house as possible.
