Is there a way to make it not stack?

I don't think same resources stack in the same room as long as you don't drop it in the same place, take a step or two everytime you drop - I could be wrong but I think this would work. In any case, there is no structure that could contain 14325 items in it anyway.
Here's an interesting tidbit (I think still works), you can seta harvester to mine whatever (preferrably a low %) and have it harvest. Open the hopper and when it shows ResourceName 0, retrieve it. You'll get a generic resource stack in your inventory of some kind with absolutely no stats and would have a name like "Minerals" or some such thing.
