I would like to maybe put a doormat out to greet friends. And what would really be nice would be a door light. It could be a street light but maybe come out with real lights that you could 'hang' on the outside of your house. This would especially be nice for Naboo larges.

Good idea, but not practical unless it's inside the building. The servers would literally explode.

Is it possible to extend the range of permissions? I'm not sure how it works, but make it to where the porch is "inside your home". Make the sides that you currently cannot go past outside, make them invisible walls okay? Then you make the staircases invisible walls with invisible and unanimated doors. Would that work?

I have to agree with you. And this needs to be expanded to all structures, especially theaters. I placed a Naboo style theater in my city this past weekend, and yes, it looks good, but you are unable to decorate the stage or seating area. Sure, we could probably have our Mayor place exterior lights somewhere, but that just doesn't give a theater that "WOW" factor we like to strive for. I'd love to place props, curtains, instruments, etc., on the stage. What's the point in decorating the back-stage area???
