So I'm now happily settled in a player city. It's not too large, maybe twenty houses, our guild hall, city hall, a cantina (but not yet a Medical Center - that's going in later this week).
Our Mayer set up zoning nicely, and everything is well organized. My question is this, though. What about roads? Wouldn't it be nice to actually put paved roads down on the ground? Is this possible? And if not, why not? If the mayor can place a park, why not a road? And connect 'em? Just a thought. Not for a any movement bonus, just for the aesthetics. Heck, and make maybe 3 different kinds of roads depending upon the planet. Just a thought.

I like the idea, and that way people will know ahead of time where not to place houses, without having to try placing a house.

Yeah I agree. Nice idea this. It'd bring a more useful city like feel to the place rather than just randomly placed houses,
which to be honest, is what it feels like to me, no matter how organised and well designed the city is.
Roads would indeed rule.
