Hello folks, well after a year and half of playing SWG it appalls me to see how SOE is handling current issues on SWG. I will concentrate my comments relating to specific's of cities and community.
1. With the advent of Politicians now no longer needing to spend skill points and the added issue of people being able to run for mayor at the last minute, which it's my understanding is a "bug."That there is a new wave of griefers and thieves that will destroy cities and the very heart of this game. There are reports of people having cities completely gutted and killed off because these "griefers" enjoying destroying, looting and pillaging. So for those that care about this game, I guess we no longer recruit and resist the attempts of people trying to buy votes and a whole host of other tactics to get their "person" in power then completely gut and destroy the city. Now it has come to my attention that people are having posts addressing this issue on the Political forums completely deleted.
2. Now that the fact thesales and property tax bugs haven't been fixed either and how long have they been issues??
So people just watch yourselves and if you log in and don't have a city anymore well it's due to someone's greed and innate ability to willing destroy something that people enjoy playing.
SOE's response so far has been the deletion of posts and threads dealing with the issue of city jacking with no apparent hot fix or even announcement that it will be dealt with before there are no cities left. In addition with the sales and property tax issues not being address I am wondering if SOE truly cares about the product and the population that play their product.
Not sure what if anything will happen to me based upon this post but I have been noticing a trend that truly bothers me with SWG.

Sales tax bugged with publish 9
Property tax publish 12.1
I have seen no threads deleted on these or the last minnute issue
However these are all problems that are serious and need addressed immediatly.

i think the no sp thing is a cop out not to deal with politicians... no sp = no need for dev time... what they fail to realize is pc cities and mayors affect a HUGE player base and not only were we gimped to begin with, but now we have even more problems and issues and no way to deal with them... they should take them out of game or actually make them viable through better mayor tools and citizen support tools.

A politician in game since they control a huge player base should be respected profession not a little back profession old players hve for a bit of fun once in a while, the removal of sp requirement wil turn this into a prof similar to the pilot profession, nearly everybosy will hve it and only some will advance in it. But unlike pilots this one is completly grief compatable, cities destroyed, mayors very annoyed and who needs a GCW when cities r being blown up better wit their atttempted fixes. We should call this the "GCW revamp the griefing of cities update"
