I say get rid of player cities, no one likes them! They are of new use. Getting rid of player cities would make more room for NPC cities, which is good. NPC cities have better design, and NPC's! Ugh. I know you all are thinking we're would we live. But they could make it so all the empty buildings in cities would actually come to use and we could live in them. No player cities would also leave more room for wilderness. Player cities are use-less, they are just ghost towns!

NOOOOO! I'm guessing that you're not in a guild with a good, thriving player city. Yours is probably a guild hall with houses. Souls Of Darkness, however, has a couple gardens, a cantina, a medidcal center, a cloning center. We are constantly at our cantina.

Bad idea! 1-Star for you!
Not only have people invested counless hours of work and money, PCs are great places for interacting and buying vital things for the game without the NPC city lag. You must live in some Level 1 Outpost in the far corner of nowheresville with a 10K meter ride to the nearest ShuttlePort!
and for future reference... just edit your post, dont post again!

I don't think we need to get rid of player cities. I do think, however, that they need to be limited. There should only be a certain number of player cities per planet and per server.
The clutter, lag, and general unsightliness of all these player cities is really starting to detract from the game.

Me and my hundred + citizens would disagree with you for one, multiply that number a couple dozen times thenper server for an overall.
They are of no use.
You don't get out much do you? One thing that cities facilitate by the way
Getting rid of player cities would make more room for NPC cities, which is good.
NPC cities have better design, and NPC's!
Give me a /rotate building command and a terraform command (like the devs have) andI'll make you eat those words. I'm majoring in architecture (sophmore atm)with plans to go on to urban planning as my masters. I feel pretty confident that I could outdo the devs in that regard.
Ugh. I know you all are thinking where would we live?
No I'm thinking where would we PvP, RP, and generally have a consolidated community without an everpresent elemtent of absolute strangers standing by, some of them mortal enemies.
But they could make it so all the empty buildings in cities would actually come to use and we could live in them.
And move 1 meter every 10 seconds!
No player cities would also leave more room for wilderness.
Which noone will ever see since you hop on a swoop and go straight for your POI spawn. Know where my city is placed? By a great looking natural POI arch moved halfway around Corellia out of the Agrilat. Know how many homes where there 5 months after the player city publish went live (we had to move from our original spot, no room) meaning players that have seen it? 0, zilch, nada, less than 1. Real horror story that, letting people get to see parts of the landscape they normally would never interact with since it's out in the proverbial boonies.
Player cities are use-less, they are just ghost towns!
Again, get out more then say that. 1, what time is it? If everyone is asleep then yeah noone is online. Check out the crafting haunts, if everyone is inside a building (and why wouldn't they be?) they're off the map so it appears noone is online. If they're out playing the actual damn game instead of milling about town for your satisfaction to fulfill an arbitrary 'activeness requirement' then it looks like the town is dead. Too bad I can't make akrayt spawn out here on Corellia. Not to mention PvP since that is a whole 'nother horse.

I disagree with the No Player cities issue. I'm apart of a player city on naboo and I think its great waching it grow around you and getting involved with city activitys.
However I know what you mean about the empty houses in npc's cities, they should have some use. Even if it ment the npcs lived there.
