When do you guys think we will be getting new planets to explore and navigate. Namely, Coruscant?
Personally, I think that an entire publish if not expansion should be devoted to this. Coruscant could be made realistically, however it would take a long time and lots of work. For that, I believe that it could be an expansion or publish. Of course, that would mean that the preceding publish would have to fix most of the bugs in current systems, and stop adding new game systems with bugs, but everyone wants to play on Star Wars' most famous planet!

Other planets that could be added:
Geonosis: Like Tatooine, but more orange, more mountainous and cavernous, and dangerous
. Lots of fun with remnants from the Clone Wars!

Hoth: Ok, who here hasn't wanted the implementation of Hoth? Once Hoth is put in the game, which wont be hard (Tatooine turned white!), all sorts of fun can begin. Live events mimicking the attack on Echo Base, in the future. Missions patrolling the place from General Reikken. Wampa's! Snowspeeders could even be added as vehicles! (It would be extra cool to add lasers on them but yeah thats probably not gonna happen)
http://www.starwars.com/databank/location/hoth/index.html
Bespin: Bespin would be fairly easy, because it would consist only of cities, on a gas giant. Say 5 or 6 cities, no player cities, and tons of fun. It would be near Hoth, and as I said, easy to design because there isn't much to design.

Kamino: Like Bespin, but only on water. Not sure if it will make it out of Episode 3, I'm sure it will...but again, it could be lots of fun. Maybe even parts of Jango Fett left behind...

Dagobah: Everyone wants to do missions for Yoda, even if only Jedi. Plus, its a unique and fun.
God i'm hungry I'll finish later.

The Devs have said that only with an expansion will we get new planets. And I would hope they finish CU and GCW and Profession enhancements/fixes before any more expansions.

I read a while ago saying Coruscant is not possible and will never be in game. The planet is essentially one giant city.
I would like to see Rattatak, the gladiator pits might be a cool idea. Players can sign up to compete, and competitions in PVPing held, 1 vs 1 or however else people want them set up. Other players could watch in the stands also. Jedi that enter the matches do not generate visibility perhaps either?
Just an idea.

Exactly, I'm tired of people wanting Coruscant. It's just not possible. You'd need a t3 connection as well as the most extreme gaming comp to be able to have coruscant that you will ever move in.
It may not be easy to replicate what many fanswould be expecting it be but a suitable alternative could be made. City buildings themselves do not cause much drain on graphics processing. For example, a Coronet style city could be easily tiled (with some random modifications) to cover a map. I also don't think there are any rules saying that the map has to be a specific size. Nothing is impossible.

Not that much drain on processing? I run well above the min system requirements and I get lag in any static city I go to, regardless of size or people in it. Imagine the lag in coronet x100000000. that would be coruscant. And it doesn't even make sense, since it would be an imp only planet.

I would want:
Adventure Planets:
------------------
Hoth - as a battleground/adventure world (but allow bases to be dropped), and a new set of Rebel/Imperial themeparks
Kessel - the Spice Mines, added as a dungeon/theme park
Dagobah - would be a great adventure world, especially a high end one (tougher than Dathomir) - place for the jedi to go to do challenging PvE for one example.
Bespin - would be a nice space sector as well as a theme park (and as a NPC city), maybe be a good place for a thempark (i like themeparks) - also add it as a space sector (very smuggler/free trader oriented)
- I would also open up the adventure worlds to faction base building, its only right given the orginal intent was to have battlefields on those planets anyway.
Coruscant - as a space sector only. this would be a Master pilot level space zone, with lots of capital ship activities and raiding going on
Myrkr - one word "ysalamiri" The best idea for keeping Jedi in check. A adventure world where being a Jedi doesnt mean squat. A place where the most skilled Master Rangers can harvest ysalamiri tissues (like Krayt tissue) to make weapons whose purpose is to be effective against Jedi. (of course the creatures would be rare, the skill needed to harvest high, and the expense high.)
Buildable Planets
-----------------
Wayland - I would open this up as a Buildable world, and has enough Jedi lore to keep folks interested interested.
Ord Mantell - not much to say here, but would fit as a build planet.
Mimban - high level buildable planet (id put the lower lvl city cap in place for this one)
Harrun Kal - same as above

I hope when Kamino comes out they let us learn how to swim and do combat in water ... or like water vehicles (something new to craft) to be able to get around and fight in. Would be alot of fun.
HOTH ... gah been waiting for this one for ages.
I do hope when the new planets come out they dont allow any new player cities on them ... we have enough of those. I just want more high level dugeons and new fun things to kill.

I would have to say Socorro & it's icy moon Neftali as portrayed in WeG's The Black Sands of Socorro. A)it's a black desert world with an vibrant underworld, evenmore so then Tatooine and B) the addition of a ice/snowplanet that's NOT hoth. Seriously, they need to stay away fromthe plantesthat is in "the future" of the timeline, after all, we're in between A New Hope & EmpireStrikes Back. Other planets that could be nice is for example Rodia with it jungels & swamps and big game hunting.

5 stars for suggest Myrkr - definitely a great idea as a planet with a more level playing ground. I'd have to disagree with other posts that would allow ysalamiri as pets.
~ remember they draw sustenance from the trees in which they live. Players would need backpack like frames in which to carry them (see Thrawn in the Heir to the Empire trilogy). If you cant wear a bandolier with a backpack, I cant see wearing that frame with one either.
~ The presence of ysalamiri would create something that negates an entire template, and would potentially pit an MBH against a player who would be without most of his abilities (what would be left? ranks in brawler and some of an elite melee class?) To me, thats's far too unbalancing, unless Jedi could throw lightsabers, and thus might have a chance to stay outside the effective range of force negation.
Myrkr as a planet works though because Jedi don't have to go there, but if they did, it's with full awareness of the risks.

The only problem with the throwing idea is that it would have to be like throwing a grenage in Commando. Jedi usually guide a throw using the force. The problem of trying to kill an opponent or the Ysalamari with throws is the fact that a Jedi could not guide the blade through the "force bubble" that is created. Jedi can't feel the force inside of that bubble. It is just blank space for them.
I can't remember what book it was in, but some exploration into anti-force would be kind of cool. Was it Crystal Star?
