Thread: Reduce the base footprint!! PLEASE!!!

Dear game developper,
Since you have changed the rule in the game, my city decided to participate and install many bases.
We have 8 total and one of em in a hospital.
Here's the problem. Once the bases are there. We dont have places for the cantina, medical center, cloning, parking, bank...
The base footprint is way to large for us to place something near. These base are in the core of our city. Since we cannot re-deed em well... They are there for good and since their footprint are too large well... no service in my small city.
I am asking you to reduce that foot print.
Im sure I am not the only mayor who have that problem.
Since then, Its a puzzle to place stuff there. So far, parking and bank is the only thing I was able to place.
so PLEASE reduce it.

That would be the problem with reducing the footprint.
It would make it much harder to take out each base.
Personally I do not think this is a good idea, even though it would be the same for both sides.
If they did decide to reduce it, you would be looking at 6 months min for testing.
It may be more feasible to move the city.
Just my humble opinion.

Well the footprints expand is where I have my problem I can make room for them in a city but when they expand and one of the houses around them gets deleted we have to pick the base up and replace a house. If they didn't expand it would be so much nicer
Also I'd like to see slightly smaller footprints on turrets as well how cool would it be to have 2 turrets in front of city hall.

it is far too easy to take out bases atm, smaller footprint means that it may become hard to take them out

they probaly have large footprints so you don't pack a bunch of bases together, they're ment to be spaced out..plus I think they're kind of ment to sit outside a city, instead of packed inside them.

I agree, bases should be very challenging to take out and decreasing the footprint would help. You should be able to concentrate them. This would force people to work in large groups to take them out.

No, Its West to NYMS on Bloodfin.
We have 8 bases so far, need turrets too but wonder how we gonna put this in city...
I understand everyone point where you guys say its made to be put outside city but We want a imperial city like a army area... city merge with bases....
Or at least being able to de-deed em... so that If it takes too much place to one place, you can see it and change it.

Less of a footprint would mean you could hide bases in the mountains or more rugged areas which would be very cool.

do actually houses vanish if you place an base in your city?

No but if a house doesn't pay maintance and gets deleted you have to remove the base to put a house their again.
