Thread: The city Militia and NPC's (idea for city guards)

Ok i'm sure this has been posted befor over one of the boards and i'm sure might have a better post but really not in the mood to dig lol.


Here is my question/thought.


With player citys why cant the militia beable to attack someone that has been banned from the city?


Well here is a thought about this that i wanted to post about. The militia should beable to ban people/guilds form there city. Once a person has been banned from the city they have 5 mins to leave the city befor the city militia will attack them. Just like the bh tef u get when a bh attacks u so u cant enter a house or the SF tef u get so u cant enter a house when u attack something. This tef could be tossed on someone that has been banned form a city. One an enemy to a city should beable to be attacked if they enter the city after being banned. A city should be a safe area for anyone that lives with in the city. U know someone attacks me in my town i would report it to the cops and let them take care of this prom. overts that come thur the city attack other overts or a bh attacking a jedi.


Now a new option with player citys should be an option to hire npcs to protect the city. Anyone that has been banned from teh city the npcs attack on sight. This npcs give zero loot zero xp zero faction. So there no good to grind. The npcs are there to protect the city and members of the city. Npcs can be ST,reb npc's, or say corsec npcs. This npcs will attack anyone even same faction if u have been banned. If someone that has been banned from the city gets a warring that they have been banned and have 60 secs to leave the city, if they dont leave the city with in that min they will be attacked. The npcs for teh city would have any wehre from 50-100k ham and also depending on the city each group would have 5 npcs in it. The city cna hire up to 100-200 npcs for a rank 5 city. The placement for the npcs would be set by the mayor or have a new role as a city officer type person the head of the militia or something his job is to place this npcs. He can give them patrol points or stand guard at once point. Like u might want them to guard the shutle port or a cantina. Others u might want to be walking up and down roads to make sure that no one is trying to attack someoen with in the city.

thats sort of what city warn was for, but the devs took it out because people were banning CSRs

Yes i know it was in game at the start but was made with grifeing with the cloner and the 30 secs to kill but with cloner not being the one with in that city any mroe as closest one and csr's can no longer be banned any way as they can just take them selfs off a target list any way so u cant ban them any way or attack them now to. csr's are not attackable unless they want to be.
