Is it true and has it been confirmed that you can declare residence in more then one city as long as the cities are on different planets?

It is a bug (and exploit if done on purpose) to be a citizen in two different cities. If this happens to you, *please* file a /bug report.

If you are listed as a citizen in two different cities, you need to go to the city you are no longer a resident of and select "Revoke Citizenship" from the city terminal.
